Champions IGA Grovedale East reviews
34Great range of products, including some that the big guys don't have. Reasonable prices and great service everytime. You've got yourself a new customer.
I can’t say that I have ever felt the need to leave a review for a supermarket, but that changed today! I was served by Moe, who was so pleasant and polite. He packed my bags for me, taking care to ensure that nothing was squashed. Not only that, he then loaded my bags into the trolley! It was such awesome old fashioned service, and made for a refreshing experience!
I usually dread my weekly shop, but this encounter had me walking out the door with a smile on my face thanks Moe!
I've been a IGA Grovedale customer for years. Tonight I witnessed a Gold-Class level of customer service from team member Celeste with a difficult situation. Kudos to her
Great place to get my mouth full till the end of the unvaccinated I will be taking instructions but I doubt if I'm the only guy who wants to do get lok
Great customer service was very helpful when I just needed an extra hand while dealing with my child, who was just a little bit excited in the shop
There are plenty of choices. Especially on the baker section. Price may not be as cheap as bigger chained store but acceptable.
If you want variety this super IGA has it!
I go out of my way to shop here because they stock items the big supermarkets don’t have, keep up the good work! A+
Great local shop!
Bottle shop is great, produce section is always fresh and stocked, they have their own butchers out the back and their own bakery, they might not be the biggest supermarket but they have mainly everything you need for a weekly shop. The staff are all friendly and lovely.
Service fantastic.
Freshness in both fruit& vegetables also meat same.
Specials even better.
Great little store with a bottle shop too. The parking lot is a bit of a pain due to renovations (adding poles etc) I haven't had a problem parking, but i do know you have to be careful turning into that lot as people will come around the roundabout and if someone is infront of you and unable to park properly then it just builds traffic on the road and created a higher risk of an accident
Good sized independent store with a varied range of products. Clean and plenty off friendly staff.
Friendly courteous people, always helpful with a smile & a chat. Wide aisles, very clean.
Love the idea one way in and out the back. Should have done that years ago. Heeps safer.
Bought Geelong Ham in the deli, best ham ever. It won an award for best ham. Its bloody yummy.
I was a loyal customer of IGA until today. I had 3 products with the discount IGA card. Unfortunately I left my IGA card at home but the checkout staff couldn’t be bothered to look it up. Not impressed! It’s never been a problem previously. I left the store feeling very disappointed in there service. Normally there staff have been great.
Great store you can get anything you need and if they don't have it tell them and they will get it
Been a while since I have been shopping here, got a few items that I cannot get anywhere else. Will be back
Awesome older style supermarket. Has items you don't see in Coles or Woolies. Is a tad dear compared to the big two but like going there for a more casual shopping be experience.
If you cant get it at the 2 biggies, IGA will most likely stock it. Fountain sweet mustard sauce for one!
This is a great example of a small supermarket chain. They have tremendous buying power, and a huge range - better than Coles and Woolworths. They don't have everything the bigger chains have, but they have more 'ethnically diverse' produce, and sell pre cooked produce like pigs trotters and lasagne. Friendly staff, and a family atmosphere make shopping here an enjoyable adventure.
Friendly staff in store and over the phone. Great access for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Great range of those favourite items you forgot or extras you need without having to fight your way through busy shopping center's. Only compliant which is minor, carpark is not overly large and can get a bit congested. They also stock some items that the larger supermarkets don't carry.
