WOW WOW WOW! What a hidden gem! This was my first time in this amazing restaurant and I was blown away! I sat in the beautiful garden downstairs where all I could smell was fresh mint I ordered the Dahi Samosa Chaat and a fresh beetroot juice - HOLY MOLY Amazing flavour and so tasty! It was really filling too! The last thing I loved about this restaurant was the incredible staff! They were all so friendly, helpful and attentive. This is my new fav

What an absolute delight! Had an amazing experience at Chai Garden! Felt like everything was served straight from the heart! Each dish from kachori, vada pao, Bombay Sandwich and the Indian style masala Omelette (that we tried) was delish, not to forget their masala chai and special filter coffee! Excellent customer service topped with smiling faces to make our experience even more special!

Very authentic Indian food, topped with perfect Indian hospitality. Very nice outdoor seating and dog friendly.

Hot steaming chai is made the authentic way. Comfort food on the menu made my Indian visitors feel so good having an authentic taste from home.

Lovely cosy place perfect for a weekend brunch… lots of options to choose from along with coffee, tea and fresh juices … all the best Asawari and Chaitanya

What a delightful experience. We had Bombay toast, sabudana khichdi, cheese toasty for toddler. And the highlight of the breakfast was masala Chai ️. Owner and the staff was very friendly and gave us the yummiest food directly taste from india. I am definitely coming back.

Luck by chance! We were in the vicinity for some personal work, looked up for cafe’s nearby and uncovered this gem. Chaitanya and Asawari, you are simply amazing at what you are doing. You’ll definitely see me very often from here on.

I dont normally drink coffee but I was tired as and needed a boost to continue my work haha, got a small flat white, was probably the best i've ever had, will come back:)

Awesome food and service. Come here for some authentic, high. Quality Indian street food, the vibe is very relaxing and the food is top notch.

Highlights for me are masala chai and samosa and vada pav!

Really tasty food. My favourite would be the Samosa, piping hot and fresh. Its filling was so generous and yummy- the spice really has a kick. It also tastes healthy- the outer crust is not oily at all, yet has a nice flavour to it. Really enjoyed it. Love the space and the staff's friendly service as well, thank you!

Coffee here is just great! Chai Garden provides great taste for Indian Vegetarian and Vegan recipes, with good variety on the menu. Indian Street food items here are one of the best in Melbourne. Chole Samosa Chat is highly recommended.

Delicious food and friendly staff. No onion no garlic sabudana kichdi was super tasty. We also had Pav Bhaji, chole chat, chickpea curry rice and carrot halwa. They were all too good. All the best to Chai Garden.

It was a lovely dinning experience. Delicious food, excellent turmeric chai and warm hospitality. Highly recommended.
