16Wow wow what a show! An amazing experience and we are so fortunate to witness the calibre of this production right here in G’town. The cast, crew, singers, dancers just everyone involved were all of a very high standard! Such fun, colour and joyous laughter all the way. Outstanding! Thanks to all. Kaye Ahlberg.
Fantastic and very professional performance Great costumes
Lots of laughs Entertained us from the get go
As much as Costa hall is an amazing venue, it's really not equipped for Theartre performances but understand with the Geelong Arts Centre building works underway there is no other choice at the moment - still an incredible show with limited resources stage wise
Fabulous show - the singing, the acting, the costumes, the orchestra, and the stagecraft were all world-class, and a credit to Geelong Arts Centre!
A magnificent, emotive and absolutely world class performance of Les Mis. I was in awe for the entire show, totally captivated. Best show Ive ever seen at a fabulous venue with great visibility. Amazing!
Les Misérables was amazing! I was impressed with the quality of the music, the singers and the acting was top notch! I'd be happy to see another one of their productions any time. Kudos!
With regards to the recent production of "Les Miserables' in Geelong a few weeks ago, I must say it has been the very best performance I have seen and I have attended every past productions of "Les Miserables" This production could be performed in any Melbourne Theatre and I know it will receive ratings of 5 out of 5!
Absolutely loved the show. Wonderful singing - I cried (never done that at a stage show before). All the characters were terrific. I fell in love with Eponine.
Les Mis was such a professional production. From start to finish it was astounding and moving. To have that sort of production in a regional town is a true blessing.
Les Mis at Costa Hall. Wowed from start to finish! Every scene kept getting better and better, the talent was Incredible.
We saw Les Miserables, what an amazing show! The singing and dancing, the acting - all of it. How come these people aren't professional. Brilliant. We loved it. Well done, and thankyou
The whole cast need to be congratulated on an excellent performance. The standard is as if not better than a major city production.
The Venue was packed, the audience excited, the Orchestra was electrifying.
Our seats were excellent and little did we know that we were to experience one of the best performances of Les Mis we have seen and believe me we have seen many. The Principals were faultless and the large chorus was spectacular. We can't remember seeing such an involved and well rehearsed cast. As always we were reduced to tears. After Covid this was a great way to return to Musical Theatre at its highest form. Well done!
The production of Les Miserables was superb. However, on the night my friend and I attended, sitting in the dress circle, the sound levels were at deafening level - positively painful. The date was Wednesday June 8th.
It is essential to do a sound check in various parts of the theatre before each show. Others who attended that evening reported the same issue, but a friend who attended the next evening said sound levels were OK.
Both my wife & I thoroughly enjoy this professional peformance from CentreStage Pty Ltd. We know full well the many hours that all the cast would have needed behind the scenes.
The music played by a first class orchestra was stirring & the costumes were true to life, we give it a 5 star rating & we very much look forward to the next production by CentreStage Pty Ltd.
Well done to all.
Whilst in Geelong I attended several shows at Costa hall & always left exited about the production I just witnesses & exited for the next one I would attend.
Decore of the old wool store has been really well utilised, a good mix of old & new.
Cons:
Main entry/exit doors are too restrictive for such a seating capacity.
