Caulfield Dermatology reviews
9Been visiting Prof McCormack for 15 years. Had various skin treatments (mostly solar damage) and have been delighted with the results and level of caring.
Felicity and the admin team are so helpful, i was very grateful for Dr Friyanas prompt diagnosis!
The Caulfield Clinic has look after my skin care for many years now and I have had numerous treatments with 100% recovery in a timely manner every time. Staff are professional and my checkups are thorough.
Would well and truly recommend Caulfield Dermatology.
Appointment with Dr Ryan de Cruz to have small cyst below lower lip removed. Week later had stitch removed and told him that it looked like he had not removed the cyst but sliced it in half. He said to give a few weeks to heal. Two weeks later returned to show Dr Ryan de Cruz that it was clear the cyst had not been removed but sliced in half, as now I had 2 cysts with a scar down the middle. He insisted that was not the case and called Dr Christopher McCormick in to have a look, who said after a while ‘I can see what you mean but give it a few weeks to heal’. Dr Ryan de Cruz said he was happy to give me a referral to a plastic surgeon and refund my portion of the bill. I told him that I felt he was just passing me on to someone else to deal with the problem he had created.
A cyst removal is a relatively simple procedure that dermatologists commonly treat and remove.
I have been left in limbo on what to do next as the plastic surgeon said he does not have a magic wand.
Reception staff are friendly and helpful. I have had significant improvement in my skin condition, Melasma, after having consulted Dr Ryan De Cruz. He is friendly and approachable.
Came here for treatment of rosecia and shaving of some moles. One particular mole left a large ugly purple scar and the doctor really should have made a recommendation to have stitches considering the location and depth of the mole. As for the rosecia treatment my doctor tried cream treatment that didn't give me results I was looking for. He then talked me into having Lazer which he assured me that, while expensive, most clients didn't come back after the first experience because they were happy with the results. The exact phrase he used was "60-70% improvement". I saw none after the painful proceedure that had me home for four days and out of pocket $450. When I cancelled the follow up appointment and said I wasn't Happy (I wasn't about to pay another large consulting fee) they offered a bulk billed follow up. Wasted my time going back only to be told by the doctor that he's always honest with his patients and never would have told me I only needed one session and the 60-70% improvement was only for a lucky few patients. Long story short don't go here, they just try to sell you things and talk you into treatments then try gaslight you about how honest they were. Also don't let them near you with a knife. Definitely look elsewhere.
It's a business enterprise competent in skin cancer issues but not interested or particularly helpful with other skin issues. Dr. Was very late.
Great clinic and skin doctors at Caulfield Dermatology, the staff there gave me the most compete and professional care possible.
