Catani Gardens reviews
36A large park with a lot of grass, but not too much else here, it's the less busy area of the beach if you want to stay around this end.
Catani Gardens nicely blends in with the rest of the surroundings including the beach, Fitzroy street, Luna park, etc. Not all paths are paved.
Enjoyed a long walk on the waterline. Was full of people, mostly in cafés due to the weather. Will return.
Beautiful place to stop with my son to have a pony ride before heading back on the spirit of Tasmania
For the most part, this place is nice!
During the summer there are families everywhere, no matter the weather there are people exercising, walking dogs, just having a play at the park.
It's right next to the beach so if you've gone for a swim and you want to dry off before leaving it's a great place to go relax while doing so.
The most lovely and natural garden with the big trees with shade along with them. Most of the area is mostly sunny for sunlovers. Lucky to spot green parrots and birds on the trees. The grass is so comfortable that you always feel like lying down on it and spend the whole day here
An underrated and sometimes forgotten when visiting St. Kilda beach, but worth coming if you’re nearby if you want some quiet space. As you can see it’s pretty well lit up during night. Plenty of benches, there’s a public toilet, some drinking fountain, a lovely rotunda in the middle and its very well maintained. Nice place to chill or have a picnic.
Catani Gardens is both beautiful, and relaxing. Drinking here is frowned upon, but technically allowed.
Playground for the kids, grass for the dads, peace and quiet for the mums. Would recommend.
Everywhere is closed with the corona virus. This is the only place we could come for a bit of exercise. Better take advantage of this beautiful before they lock this place down permanently.
Beautiful beach side park complete with palm trees and good vibes. Honestly, the St Kilda area reminds me of California in all the best ways when the weather is nice, without the douche factor. Sunsets are gorgeous, and there are a variety of good spots to check out for eats and drinks.
Unfortunately the area was having some major work done and was fenced off. No idea what was happening as there was no signage
Clean and green. A short distance from the city. Accessible via public transport. Walking distance to the St Kilda pier. Lovely views of the water.
Good park and nice blue sea in the day. No bike rental shop nearby though you have to walk in some distance into town to find a rental bike shop that is really expensive at AUD40 a day
Nice little park to have a sit down or a wander round. Couple of very impressive trees but not much else
The park is fantastic I've been there plenty of times in the past and at night possums will come right up to you and take food out of your hand
Nice spot. Pride March (Midsumma Festival) ends there each year - for the Homo in me. My father Kevin & his siblings were almost all if not all born right near there with an amazing number of others born to Gippslanders. Palm trees galore. Should be others as well - the Palms would have to be relocated.
Lovely spot. Some basic playground. Walking distance to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and cafes and bars nearby. Big palm trees for shade. Generally very clean and child friendly. See you there
Fabulous gardens next to the beach in St Kilda, a great place to chill out, have a picnic, meet your friends and enjoy the day
Unfortunately for me that night most of gardens was blocked for something called Beerfest definitely took away from my experience. There were significantly less douchebags around though
