One of those places where you’re inconveniencing them just by purchasing items from their store.

A friendly country hardware store with a large range of items. Helpful staff.

Placed phone order, when I arrived staff members didn't have items ready. A staff member then tried to charge me for items purchased elsewhere. That were in my ute. When he asked me how much I had paid at a local nursery for the items, he then accused me of lying about the price I'd paid.
Looking up the item on his computer insisting that I was making it up.
Today silly me called in to grab timber screws and were sold metal screws. So had to return them.
I saw the employee from the previous incounter. And showed him the add for the product he had disputed with me. Rather then offering an apology or to match the price in future he continued to be rude.
Im more then happy to pay extra to support local business but when confronted with rude staff members I'd rather go elsewhere and pay less!

Lovely customer service once you get talking to someone and lots of help finding what you need.

TERRIBLE customer service and the store is filthy! The staff are a joke and clearly shouldn't be in customer service. There is no recognition when entering the store, no one floating around to help you find items through the junk they have sprawled everywhere and when you decide to purchase the overly priced items they have, they treat you like you've insulted their mother.
DO NOT RECOMMEND

New stock piled on old stock, and the yard is disgusting.
