We genuinely hope that our feedback will be used to improve Castle Estate's business.
We have placed 5 orders with them, valued at $830.00 and sadly, only one of the 5 orders was delivered in full, the other 4 had missing and/or incorrect products.
Their communication with customers is reliant on you, as a customer, following up repeatedly.
Their website enables the sale of products they do not have in stock.
Obtaining a refund is slow, and again, reliant on repeated follow up by the customer.
Orders are not fulfilled with care and incorrect products are routinely sent out with no notification or a note to explain what has occurred.
It is a shame as their meat is great.

Ordered through Castle Estate to support a local business in the region. Quite expensive but figured worth it.
1. Contacted to say delivery delay; thats ok COVID and all. No probs
2. Delivery arrives. Left in sun, meat warm, no cooling/ice or notification of delivery
3. Products missing from order. No bacon, marrow not cut or usable, full joints, missing amounts, eye fillet terribly fatty and under weight. Scam.
Give these guys a wide berth. If you're in the Geelong and South Coast region go through someone like Pennys Meats in Newtown or order from a Farm elsewhere in Victoria.
After having this recommendation I couldn't be anymore disappointed.

Only left one star cause I had to to post this.

First time I'd got a meat box direct and loved it all. The whole box was great - the steak, sausages and bacon went down a storm but the star of the show was the lamb shoulder. Truly delicious! The whole philosophy around animal welfare etc is also great to see. Highly recommended!

I've never visited the farm but I order meat from here. The meat is delicious and they deliver all over Melbourne & (I think!) a few places in regional Victoria. If I have to eat meat for health reasons, I'm only ordering it from here.

Amazing produce that arrives on time. I love the mixed box as it encourages me to try new recipes and bring everyone to the table

This was the first time I had ever ordered meat from Castle Estate and I was blown away. Honestly the quality was excellent, the best slow roasted lamb shoulder we have ever tasted (and we cook this weekly as our family Sunday feast)! Even the beef sausages were delicious which I was not expecting at all. After loyally buying organic meat from the market, we will now be ordering our weekly favourites from Castle Estate. I can honestly recommend this butcher to anyone who wants the best quality meat delivered to your door full of flavour and super efficient. Thanks!

As far as delivery went, they were quick and on time; however we did not receive the bacon due to a supply issue and were told that we would be refunded for it. That didn't occur, so I rang and once more I was told that we would be refunded for the lack of bacon, and it still hasn't occurred. So we're not going to purchase from Castle Estate any more.

Not what it was when it was Koallah Farm. Quality of meat has lowered considerably which is quite disappointing. We’ve been long time customers but after the last three poor grade orders we are now looking elsewhere.

Quality and taste of Castle Estate meat surpassed
my expectations … forgot get the big supermarket meats get meat that tastes like meat! Even the beef sausages were soooo good. But the steaks were clearly the winner for us.

Bought a box from Castle Estate. The steaks are phenomenal—definitely iimpressed some dinner guests (and myself).

The beef quality is amazing.a little bit on the pricey side. My issues are with the pork and beef mince.these are full of fat, more fat than the meat. For premium mince this not what we expected.
