Caspian Hypermarket & Butchery reviews
23Thank you, for consistently providing top-quality products and having such friendly staff! Your dedication to quality and customer service is truly appreciated.
Worst ever. The lady is rude and has attitude. As for the butcher, slackest ppl on earth - see u standing there and deliberately ignore u and just keep cutting their meat. The type of place where they are probably only friendly if you’re the same ethnicity as them and speak their language otherwise they just treat u like dirt. Clearly not business minded people. On top of that ridiculously overpriced. Do not recommend.
Zero in customer service! Two rudest ladies always talking, hardly bothered about customer or their inquiry don’t feel like going their. Hope the owner gets aware of it
Very poor customer service. All their meat and items are expensive comparing to other stores. Specially the women in the counter does not respect or treat you well. You have to wait in the counter until she finishes using her phone. Overall this is just a store with poor service and expensive products. Thanks
Extremely worst customer service! The lady at the counter literally ignores you and keeps talking on the phone.
Seems like someone has forcefully asked her to do this job.
Even the prices are high compared to other similar shops around the area.
Good quality meat, irani grocery items, irani bread and dry fruits. Lovely staff and always giving extras to kids.
The shop has a good variety of food and goods. The people working there are very nice and friendly.
Definitely recommend. Thanks
Be careful and check your invoice at store I was charged double on two items out of the four. Never will go again
Very clean and organised butcher within a mini supermarket. Great variety and speciality imported items from multiple regions.
Very load music that even staff can't hear you unless you shout. Very crowded and most of the stuff has no prices even the meat counter. Cashier was on the phone and didn't acknowledge my presence until she put the phone down. Never will go there again.
Poor customer service and rude staff, specifically the lady who was over the counter! At the end, she handed over the shopping basket and asked me to put it where I took it from!
(Dar kol erse babasho dar esfahan ro khorde boodam engar!)
The best Persian supermarket in Melbourne, fresh meat and all that you need in one place, is highly recommended.
I'm a regular customer one of the 1st to go over when they opened. I was over there to get some stuff and the lady was screaming at the top of her voice to the butcher in her language and asked me to hurry up that she has to close the till it was around 7.50 not even 8 pm.they usually close at 9.but you don't scream like that in front of customers it made me so uncomfortable.the butcher tried to serve me.but I said its ok.and I left.will never visit this shop.this woman was so unprofessional.
The best lamb quality in Melbourne, without smell and blood.kidney and fatty meat are grilled without any marinating and tastes amazing
Fantastic range of products. Fair price. Car park can be a problem at the front, but there are more car parks at the back.
The shop is clean and has a good variety of products with good quality. This includes the butchery. What stands out more is the unique friendly staff members who make your shopping experience a great one. In short, the shop is a lovely service satisfying our needs very well.
Good place to get your middle eastern food, spices, nuts, dairy products and fresh meats. Meats prices are very reasonable.
Caspian hypermarket had everything I needed like the best Turkish coffee you can buy in Australia. The girl at the front Fizeh is so helpful and nice. The meat was also very fresh and they have a great selection of Persian foods, nuts and seeds. I’ve told all my friends about this place and will definitely be going back!
I’m really disappointed.
I used to be a loyal customer to this shop.
Today I had a very bad experience and unfortunately the shop has lost me as a customer.
I went there and I wanted to buy some pasta. The price that was mentioned on the product was $1.9.
When i went to counter to pay for the pastas i found out that the price something around $3. So I said the price on the product was $1.9 and you are charging me more!
The lady over counter said due to the situation that every one is dealing with, the prices has gone up, she also mentioned that they are buying products with a higher price than usual.
Till here is ok and everyone understands, you are the owner, you buy stuff with higher rate of usual and you have to sell it with higher rate.
The question is why don’t you let the customer know what is the actual price? You haven’t changed the price label on the product and even when i was paying for it you forgot to mention the prices are higher than usual? !
Imagine some one who buys 30 piece of product over there to support the local supermarket and trusts the shop, they never check the receipt.
I found out about it because i only bought 4 pieces and thats why i realized i got over charged.
This is an act of thievery and shouldn’t be tolerated!
People beware and always check your receipt after shopping.
