Caspian Cuisine Iranian ( Persian ) restaurant

Food is good. Price is reasonable. But unfortunately they do not pay attention to decoration of the restaurant.
If you want to go to the toilet, you should pass a messy kitchen, and dirty back yard!
Although it is cheap, I could not persuade myself to invite my friends to this restaurant!

Authentic persian cuisine. Nice and cosy surroundings, reasonably priced and friendly staff and service.

Arguably the best Persian food experience. I used to love going to a very good Persian restaurant in US and always used it as a benchmark but this restaurant is miles ahead.

Good service, lamb kebabs were delicious, chicken not breast (thigh), not the norm for Persian. Overall would recommend. (Size of lamb kebabs enticing).

I’ve tried almost every Persian restaurant in Melbourne and here is the best place by high distinction. The food quality is good, the portion is good and the prices are very fair especially in comparison with other Persian restaurants. I highly recommend trying this place and my favourite food is chicken kabab.

Yummy Persian style kebabs served with either rice or bread. Rice cooked with ghee which adds a nice texture and flavour. All this is washed down well with a pot of their traditional tea.

Seating area is limited so booking is essential, the food was absolutely delicious and authentic Persian cuisine. Staff were very friendly and great value for money. As two adults we shared one main and two entrees and we couldn't finish it all and be comfortable afterwards I highly recommend this restaurant for a low key but very enjoyable Persian food experience.

Loved the food, the tea and the music. Felt like I was transported to Iran. Reasonably priced as well.

Quantity and quality wise the restaurant is amazing. I loved their meat platter, it was 32$ around, I forgot the exact amount but way too tasty. Definitely recommend for the people who loves Persian food. Staffs were friendly too.

This place is great and the food is always amazing but tonight I’m very disappointed. I travelled over 30 minutes to come and eat with my dad and sister but when we arrived it was closed, even though their website said they were open AND it said they were open on the front door. Really sad, but will learn from my mistake and call before making the trek out here again.

By far, it is one of the best restaurants in Eastern suburbs, amazing food & lovely staff. The best kebab I have ever tried.

Restaurant is extremely busy on weekends, so much so that we had to wait around 15 mins for a table despite having a relatively late night booking for two people. However staff are incredibly polite and welcoming and did there best to accommodate us. The quality of the food is excellent and very authentic. We had the Caspian Mixed Kebab and Zereshk Pulao, both were very well prepared and flavoursome. The standout dishes at the kebabs as is the case with many Persian restaurants in the area so make sure you get at least one of these. Would visit again soon, although larger groups may struggle to find seating.

Absolutely delicious food at this warm, family restaurant. We were attracted by the favourable reviews and were not disappointed. The server recommended the lamb and chicken kebab meal to me and my wife had the chicken. The meals were tremendous value for money and given we had a late lunch, we did not require dinner:) Some of the best saffron rice I have ever had. We enjoyed Persian tea and it was delicious. Highly recommended and we would definitely return.

The food here is amazing and the price is quite reasonable. The service was okay. But I recommend going for the food as it’s fantastic!
