Cash Converters Geelong reviews
22Spent 20 minutes waiting at the selling/loan desk for a staff member to show up, just for her to offer me 10 cents for 2x unused Nintendo Wiis with 25 games because they didn't trust the remotes might work. Scam
Beat price $130 for ultimate ears megaboom 3 beat workers 10/10 and you work so hard name for cash converters will love how you work so hard and your excellent people
These people have no idea about music equipment. Go to another store worst cash converters in the country.kids playing with power over needy people
My partner and I had come in looking to buy console remote controllers, we were very satisfied with the overall customer service experience! And the helpfulnesses of one of your very lovely workers named Joanna! She went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional! Joanna my partner and I hope’s this feedback finds you! Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Keep the hard work up will definitely be back when in need again.
Great helpful and accomodating staff. Returned a faulty item to exchange with another with no fuss and processed refund of remainder. Lady must have been cringing inside watching me fumble changing over a chain but didn't show it. Would recommend to others.
Don't bother messaging them or emailing, they don't bother replying.
I sent several messages about a webshop item that required little to no effort on their part and couldn't get a single response.
Rude and unprofessional.
It's a good place to buy from but to sell isn't the bad unless you really don't care how much you get I understand it's a business and you got to make money but low balling everything is kinda bad for the customer so remember to always sell online before selling here
I recently temporarily fell on hard times and had to get a lone on some items.
I found them very fair in picking, in fact I was pleasantly surprised. I also found the staff friendly welcoming and polite.
They are also flexible and allow 48 hours after the due date to pay. This is very handy, good business and very fair.
I highly recommend Geelong Cash converters. They have come a long way with fairness and flexibility. Definitely worth using if you fall on hard times and need a short tem loan. 28 days and 2 days grace. Can't ask more than that.
Give them ago, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Great store to shop in
A massive shout out thank u to George, Samantha and to Mason for holding onto the things I'd bought.
Extremely friendly staff.
Was well worth the 1hr drive to get there.
Definitely recommend this store to anyone
I would recommend not purchasing gas camping stoves from here. I purchased one faulty and provided the receipt to return it. Despite it being a few months since purchase the receipt states refunds with no expiry date if item is faulty, however I was not refunded. I was also told on enquiry that the cash converters did NOT have the facilities to test the stove however when trying to return it I was rudely that the stove was definitely test before being put out in the store. Would not buy from here again
Rude, arrogant. Over priced. After 20 years dealing here, today I say good-bye. Not willing to negotiate price. Old staff were more friendly. Not paying $395 for a kayak that is $299 brand new elsewhere.
Been here a few times, and found some good deals on 2nd hand items. Some are near new and well priced (or maybe they are badly priced? But for me, a bargain!) Will definitely visit again.
Nice store. Offered half priced DVDs when I grabbed a few. Store could use a renovation as it seems very 90s and is fairly dim.
Got a Samsung's galaxy note 9 for $400 what a bargain. Easy to deal with great customer service.
This is a great Cashies store with an interesting line up of the usual gear that you'd expect to be available in a store such as this. For the uninitiated and the naive, you should always know that store franchises outside the local CBD area sometimes get the best ideal desired goods and at many times because they're so far out you can bet the prices are quite reasonable as well! It's the luck of the draw if you find anything great but your chances are better the further out you go. I'm from the local CBD/city and many of our Cashies stores never have anything great (they're lost their way after some 30 years) and they're small, boring and with the same predictable set up. But not from the outer areas though. I just scored a legit Super Nintendo Mini for $75! That's a steal at that price considering how expensive they can be? ! This Cashies along with Techzone Geelong (when will they open a new shop? !) are the few places that you have to visit when you're out here!
Always really helpful and nice, relaxing enviroment while waiting for a loan or looking for something second hand to buy at a cheaper price then usuall, they have a decent range of options for alot of items to choose from except the prices seem a bit steep for second hand/used goods but i guess its still cheaper.thankyou.
They are fast, reliable and give good deals, I always buy there for my video games and handhelds, selling is different which I understand they have to make some prophet there and there. I would buy there again.
Appalling & insulting experience & will never buy or sell from there again. Legal criminals that's what these mongrals are
What a rip off. Gave me $40 for my tv and now it's for sale for $200. If you need to sell thing go to facebook buy/ sell
The buyers there are taking advantage of the geelong community. Under the certain circumstances that draw people to sell their things here in such a small suburb it makes the employees feel like they can undercut people who are clearly struggling. I have a few items that i like to get appraised every so often and I have never been offered so little money. When i returned to melbourne city the next day to double check their opinion I was offered almost double what they offered here at this store. I'm not fond of the way they treated me when i explained previous appraisals and in future I will spend the $16 of public transport it costs to do it in the city because I will still come out on top, however, I shouldnt have to do this.
