I just had a great experience with Maddy! This was my first time selling at a Cash Converters - my quote was honored and it was super quick and pleasant. I was super surprised to hear Maddy was not the store manager - her customer service skills are fantastic!

Cheers to the team (who've names I've misplaced) at South Melbourne. I've never received such genuine, fair service in comparison in this genre of store.

Walked in, I was not greeted and not offered to help from the 2 blokes at the front desk. Another customer came in seconds after I did… They were happy to welcome here and offered help.

I did not feel welcome.

Theyre not really interested in buying anything.chatting and sitting on their phone.seem more into loans and ripping people off at 27% interest
Beware the imaginary manager! Lol.

Super friendly staff, made my first sale to Cashies super easy and I got way more out of cleaning out our old cupboards than I thought I would. Will be back for suuuuure!

Although the store is small and does not have a huge range, the staff are accommodating and work professionally and promptly to pawn goods.
Not the best prices you can find but also not the worst. I've already got alright and promptly delivered rates from them.

Don't waste your time VERY EXPENSIVE. Cheaper to buy BRAND NEW online. I couldn't believe how OVER PRICED they are and they won't negotiate even when you show them the same product cheaper elsewhere. I don't know how this shop survives because it is so expensive! RIP OFF AVOID - I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS but you are forced to provide a star.

Not a bad Cashies at all and probably right there with the Prahran (which had had its own issues decades back) store as well. For a CBD store it's fine with a decent section of goods and trinkets. It's no outer melbourne variant because we all they're the best ones, if your prepared to travel but it's still pretty neat for a local one though. I can't help and think that maybe this store deserves a bigger showroom with more gear/stuff? ! But that's probably due to the location than the franchise itself. Excellent but it needs to be in a bigger/better building!

It’s ok. Prices are high, but not the most overpriced CC I’ve been too. This one has a mArge selection of tools and electronics: video games, tv, movies, bicycles and often have A fridge or two. Stick doesn’t move very fast, so I’m guessing they haven’t realized.

Cash Converters South Melbourne is a very lovely store with an eclectic variety and stock of products ranging from jewelry, stereos, laptops, smartphones, good quality products. The store exemplifies great friendly helpful customer service, whether be personal finance, retail or buys and loans, staff are very friendly, polite, courteous, patient, understanding and informative. In the Personal Finance department, Darren and Mohammed are excellent, exemplary fantastic, team members, their diligence, consideration, patience and understanding with customers for Personal Finance at South Melbourne is excellent and they lead the charge with excellent friendly customer service and great relationship and repoire with customers. If you are in the city, recommend drop in the store.

Was sold a NON-AUTHENTIC Louis Vuitton mens wallet! This has definitely made me lose any confidence in buying from Cash Converters now.
When I returned the wallet, the staff member (Tim) gave some of the worst customer service I've ever received. Was totally unsympathetic to my situation.
Just a horrible experience!

It's just another cash converters store wise but the staff there were very helpful and gave us some flexible options when buying.

Great customer service, all staff are so very helpful which is strange as they work in such a challenging environment with difficult customers.
The store manager was lovely and the young man that helped me in retail went above and beyond. Highly recommended! A+
