They are rude and rip off people Bendigo workers except you not to be on the phone when you go in

Not sure about the other workers but the one I dealt with was a tool. Took in stuff to sell he took forever looking them up 20+ minutes pretty sure I heard him speaking poorly of me too and then offered me literally peanuts for the stuff way less than what an op shop would sell it for. Felt like a punch in the gut not only the prices but the way he made me feel as if the stuff I bought in was worthless I was winded and pretty speechless.
Very degrading he’s a real fat sleaze bag. If you plan on selling something just go to Bada Bing they offer really great prices around half of what they’ll sell it for which should be the standard for places like cash converters!

The selection of items is diverse and reasonably priced after a haggle, however the two staff working today were too distracted loudly chatting across the store to pay attention to customers, actively discussing leaving their jobs, good store, but disappointing staff today.

Made a deal online and over the phone when I went into the store very rude wait in about 5 minutes patiently as it to colleagues were rambling on then when we got the product change the price started yelling and giving attitude and getting frustrated very unacceptable I would advise you not to purchase anything from the store or deal with such rude people

I took in an unlocked Samsung galaxy s21 5g 256gb,
They are selling them for $650 locked to optus, lol
They tried to offer me $250 there's no way I'm letting anyone profit off me, especially not a $400 profit if they offered at me at least $400
They are a joke,

In my opinion, the manager took my phone elsewhere at 12-1am during the 7 day stay. I have evidence and will be taking this further as (in my opinion) the manager is corrupt and jealous of me

Generally a pretty good selection of things at decent prices, although always do your research before buying, as some of the items are being sold for close to RRP for a well worn in product. Overall though that only happens occasionally and is likely a problem a lot of pawn shops have anyways. The staff are always kind and willing to help and I've even sold some stuff to them at about what I expected to get from a pawn shop

I find most things in the place r broken and damaged and some things r really over priced be careful when buying something and not mention the front desk people r so rude and people skills out all won't be coming back to this store

Bought an electrical item that I had been wanting to buy for quite some time. Received very helpful, knowledgeable service from Clint, one of the sales team members.
Unfortunately over the next few weeks the item had a few issues and wouldn’t work properly. I took it back and spoke to Clint, who was working that day. I explained the issue, and Clint, after checking that there was nothing similar in stock in the store, refunded my purchase for me. I was very impressed with Clint’s courtesy, and professionalism during the dealings I had with him. He took the time to explain and answer all the questions I had. I wish more retail staff took the time to be as professional. Will happily deal with Clint in the future.

Spoke to Clint at cash converters, he was so professional and friendly, gave us great advice and we left with much more knowledge then we went in with. 100% customer service!

I've been dealing with these guys for many years (20+) here in Bendigo I have at times felt like I've been ripped off, I've been made to feel inferior and a fair share of heartless staff members but today I was turned away for not being doubled vaxed despite the fact that they're an essential business who stayed open during lockdowns. Being turned away by someone your on 1st name bases with. Cashies you have finally lost me

(In regards to the bendigo store) Friendly, happy staff, Always very helpful and kind.
Clint is very helpful and knowledgeable on video games, Doesn't mind having a friendly chat occasionally.
Everyone is professional and well mannered,
Have had some amazing deals at cashies always stop by weekly to see what cheap bargains I can pick up. Over all an awesome store, Needs more stock currently but other than that 10/10

Was assisted by Clint, very professional, helpful and friendly. Clint really knows his stuff and was very patient and extremely helpful and well informed of his products. Very honest man. Well done Clint, will definitely be back to see your cheerful face with a great attitude!

Clint, at Cash Converters Bendigo, provided the best customer service to me when I purchased an amplifier for my electric drum set. His professionalism and friendly approach helped me in selecting the product suitable for my needs.

Very dissapointing online transaction. Paid for my item, received a receipt, next day told I've been refunded because the didn't process my payment before someone in store bought it. They took my money, processed it, and then refunded a week later. Beware if buying online, they might not have the stock and still keep your funds.

Biggest rip offs around, can buy brand new stuff for the prices they asking, wouldn't recommend

Lots of good second hand things but you just got to make sure you’re not buying something that doesn’t fully work I bought a iPad and I couldn’t listen to any music and the one I got for the train over for the one I just bought has the same issue just with games not having music but will work with ear phones. 5/10 remember you’re buying something way cheaper then the normal price so you might get issues here and there but overall they are always nice and understanding customer service was 7/10 overall happy
