Cash Converters reviews
17 Just wanted to give a shout out to a sales man by the name of lucas we were dealing with him over your Web shop and he really made our online purchase so pleasant and was patient and understanding. I must say I have never ever had such a great experience in my times of shopping online he took so much time and was just great to deal with we definitely need more sale's men like thanks lucas for your time and effort your great manners and consideration to myself and my partner was definitely 100%
Thank you
Lucas the web operator is an absolute legend. I would be recommending Cashies to everyone. Best place to buy
I HATE CASH CONVERTERS I BOUGHT AN IPHONE 7 PLUS SO LET
ME EXPLAIN SO I WANTED TO GO TO A CASH CONVERTERS I FOUND AN IPHONE 7 PLUS AND IT WAS $80
AND THEY SAID ONLY THE HOME BUTTON DIDN'T WORK SOMETIMES THEN THE TRANSACTION WENT THROUGH AND LATER I CHECKED THE SETTINGS AND IT SAID 256GB SO I WAS HAPPY THEN I CHECKED THE BATTERY HEALTH AND IT SAID 66% THAT MEANS I COULDN'T USE THE PHONE TO CALL 000 IF I AM IN A EMERGENCY AND CASH CONVERTERS DID NOT SAY ABOUT THE BAD BATTERY HEALTH AND I
COULDN'T RETURN THE ITEM
The staff here are amazing!
I was in 2 weeks ago on a weekend and was having trouble paying for an item. The staff were so patient with me and assisted me with my numerous attempts at numerous payment methods. They didn't make me feel like I was annoying and wasting their time, and were happy to help me. They also gave me a great deal on the item. I would recommend this store to anyone.
Bought a $1400 item off them only just yesterday, scheduled to pick it up this afternoon. I call them and make sure they have it there and are open, drive all the way down there.
All to only find out that they have screwed up my order after purchase and they refunded me the money overnight, then only told me this morning via email that it was available for purchase again and have sold it shortly after, didn't do me the courtesy of putting it aside for me when I paid for it originally and waited for me to drive down there to tell me, no phone call.
What a waste of time.
Most inefficient place. Better consider giving it for free instead of going to this place.
Very good service from every one of the staff other than Ashley she is such a unprofessional girl I wouldn’t even say woman the way she talks is horrendous I also noticed she doesn’t wear her name tag I can assure you she knows she would get so many complaints with the attitude she gives people that’s why she doesn’t wear it so no one knows her name like very horrible service would never recommend I will be refusing service from her every time I come in as she is always a problem.
Bought a Kyoritsu tester online from this store. Great price and arrived two days later interstate in the condition as described. Can’t fault the service and price at all.
Be prepared to lose out. Do not pay very much for goods as they want to make all the money. Only go there if you have too! Be warned! Go to cash mart Dandenong down the road from cashies. They are a lot more reasonable. Good luck
The staff are very nice. But the manager on the other hand doesn’t negotiate prices and when i tried to sell something with over $500 they said best the cancel do is $120
The manager here refuses to follow Consumer Law, so beware! Before you buy anything, ask him about what happens if the item is dead when you get home. He will say that (contrary to Cash Converters own publicised policy of a 90 day warranty) they do not offer any warranty whatsoever so that would be tough luck. He will say that is because they are a franchise, not a core Cash Converters store. Firstly, this is against the law - if they have a shop front and you purchase the goods with the clear intention that they function, then you are entitled to a refund if they don't. Secondly, there is no physical difference whatsoever between a franchised CC and any other CC, so a customer would never know. Until Consumer Affairs Victoria prosecute the management of Cash Converters Dandenong, you stand to spend $100s in good faith with no comeback. Appalling charlatans.
Great team, very helpful, friendly and all at a fair price etc, thankyou to the older blond lady who helped me with my cash loan, she was very helpful and patient. I always have a great experience (especially at the Dandenong store) and what a massive range ov different items. Thanks guys. D
Second time I've put goods on loan through this store and offered a very fair price with an interesting rate thats affordable, good deal, great service, staff were friendly and great to deal with. Thanks guys
After the experience I’ve had, I feel that 1 star is still too high for this poor excuse of a business. I received a loan against an item of mine. Not only was I not given paperwork, I wasn’t informed of the due date until it was too late. Cheers for the text with a link to the survey, maybe a text with my due date would of been better though. I have now lost a $600 item because of the incompetence of your staff. A complaint has been lodged with ACCC and a police report will be filed. Anyone who supports this lying, thieving business should be ashamed of themselves.
Jamie is the worst worker in the Dandenong store, he doesn’t even know the returns and replacement conditions and he works there.worst costumer service ever!
I've got a lot of thoughts on this store but will cut it to the short end
the staff are friendly and willing to make a good deal
their prices really are fair for what the item is and the condition too.now that's not to say it's a perfect store either
their prices they offer in the pawn / loans area I think needs improving but with every pawnshop gotta make some money
so can't really fault them there as the prices in store seems good
Poor customer service. My partner and nephew went to buy an amplifier and was told they could return it if any issues. Went back with my partner who was the person that bought the amp (with a receipt on hand), only to have one of the female employees call out to the employee that was assisting us accusing us wanting a refund because we werent the ones that bought it. Very unprofessional, and you shouldnt assume when we have a receipt for proof of purchase.
