Just been there to check how much they would offer for a galaxy z flip 5 512GB, they said $600.
Even though they are selling the 256GB for over $1200.
I understand the point of their business is to make a profit, but now we know. They expect over 75% profit!
Oh also, my galaxy z was brand new and still in sealed box and invoice fron Samsung AU. So well, don't waste your time with them unless you got really old stuff.

Hey guys I came down to vist family and thought I might check out they had in stock, saw that they had a white psp 1000 modle (original modle) and a 69$ robot hoover.
I checked out the psp at the family's place and notice that the psp had CFW (custom firmware) and the X and O buttons were swapped on the program and i didn't want this as a collector.
And the hoover, got it home and put on the charger for like 2 days, it didn't charge at all and I live in kyneton so it's not worth the drive.

Came in here with a client (disabled) who was certain he could make some money off some old Matchbox cars. Though the cars were worthless, they were very kind and bought them from him anyway. Really appreciate it!

Dealt with Paul, the webshop operator of this store and was advised an item was too new to discount. Fair enough, perfectly understandable. Thirty minutes later the item is sold, for 20% off aka $100 discount.hmm, that's weird. Not really acceptable treatment of a customer honestly, and being a fellow cash converters employee myself, expected much better.

I purchased a used set of golf clubs from this store. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The following day I came back with a small problem with my purchase and they resolved it immediately with the same friendly service.
I will go back there in future if I find that they have what I need.

Second time I've come in don't ask why I came in again and Samantha in the jewelry section is so unbelievably rude. She is absolutely passive aggressive, sarcastic and has terrible customer service. No idea why she is in customer service at all. She belittles you as she speaks to you. I'm not the only person who she has spoken like this too. It's actually so disrespectful. You work in cash converters, you are not some superior being. Never coming back.

Games are in good condition, well presented with decent pricing. One of the better cash converters I've been too.

Amazing service from all staff at the Parkdale store. The lovely lady in charge of jewellery today made me feel so welcome and I find that so refreshing these days. Keep it up.

Been a customer for well over 15 years. Took my $1200 laptop to get a loan they wouldn't give me more than $100 yet took same laptop to Frankston store and got a loan for $250 on it (had previously gotten $200). When I asked for $250 this time I was told no problems as I'm a regular loyal customer. Parkdale will Never get my business again.

They advertised an Xbox series X for $749 on Gumtree, I drive nearly an hour to get to the shop and the price had jumped to $899 by the time I got there. They wouldn’t sell it to me for the $749 so I left. I understand these are in high demand at the moment but you can’t advertise a product and then raise it by $150 when a customer comes to buy it, I’m sure they’re breaking a consumer law here. I won’t be returning to this shop ever again as they clearly don’t care about pleasing the customer or adhering to a given price, they just want to make as much money from everything & everyone as possible it seems.

(Ended up buying a Series X off Gumtree for $750 at a later date so my story had a happy ending without Cashies Parkdale involved)

They took an item that I was wanting to get a loan on and they accidentally gave me the wrong amount of money back (only by a few dollars) Instead of talk to me about it They called back to threaten me, the actually really guy scared me. Won’t go back if my life depended on it

Got charged $69 for an item which also had a $59 dollar sticker, a discrepancy that was pointed out at the front desk while i checked over the product. At the time, i was too tired to argue the point, who's at fault?

Bought multiple 5 packs of DVDs and Blu Ray which were shrink wrapped as bundles. Got home to find at least 80% of the discs scratched beyond recognition. How can you shrink wrap packages without checking first. Even the return of these items was difficult.

"Aeron" attended me when selling a laptop at Cash Converter Parkdale. The guy said "He is suspicious because there is Team Viewer in laptop. Which was based on no assumption and he couldn't answer why is this suspicious when I am providing you all IDs you may ask. Then he started reseting laptop without agreeing on a price and he didn't even ask for a consent before he got started. Later i found out he was quite illiterate in computing as he had no idea what he needs to reset it.

I called up this morning looking for a game, and thought that it would be an easier interaction over the phone so i could allow them time to actually take there time and look for it. After calling up i spoke to a lady who then went on to ask another man whether or not they had it or not, i could hear their entire conversation. Then he went on to say just wait 30 seconds and then go back to the phone and say we don't have it, UM? If you're gonna be lazy enough to not look for an item even after I've called up asking, learn how to mute your phone so I can't hear your entire conversation and know that you're lying. I know for fact that i will not be bothering AGAIN with this store with the lack of care by the staff to even do there jobs, ESPECIALLY SEEING AS YOU STILL HAVE A JOB TO WORK UNLIKE HALF THE REST OF THE PEOPLE RIGHT NOW.thanks for listening.

Brought a couple of games online with click and collect. Turned up to pick up the games only to find the harder to find tile *missing*. At no stage was there any communication that the game was missing via email or phone. When order was done. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and time wasted to go to the store.

Found an item online that was out of stock everywhere else, and purchased it from CC. It was sent from this shop. It was well described, and in better condition than advised. It was also more-complete than described with the original box. Very good deal! Well packaged and dispatched promptly. Highly recommended.

Great store overall
I'd say the best thing I could say is the prices are mostly fairly priced and they make great deals
the staff are great (I'd say 3rd best in victoria) and helpful when asking about items.

I've purchased a good amount of stuff from this store and really feel like I got a good deal
that's not to say they're the best as some items are a bit high but still mostly good priced.

So if you're in the area it may be a good idea to drop in
find a bargain or something useful

Slack service I shouldn't have to wait more than 5 minutes and I was forced to come back twice cause they couldn't confirm my payment even though I received an email confirmingy purchase. No shopping here again
