Casa Iberica Deli reviews
44 Lots of yummy food from around the world, including cheese from Spain and Yerba Mate from Argentina. My family's been buying chorizos here for decades.
Very busy on weekends.
Spanish supermarket and deli. Perfect place for Spanish ingredients and a quick empanada too!
Best place for Latin American food ingredients in all of Melbourne. Every time I go I end up with a couple bags full of food. Staff is lovely and they speak Spanish. Don't miss out on the hot empanadas.
Some things that can be found here that are hard to come buy:
- Fresh Mexican chorizo / longaniza
- Oaxaca cheese
- Tomatillos / Tomates verdes
- Proper hot Salsas
- Maiz pozolero / Hominy
- Nopales
- Maquina para tortillas / Tortilla Press
- Cazuelas / Clay pots
Horrible overpriced homemade food. The quality and presentation of the food is appalling. Buy at your own risk of getting gastro.
Bought Harina PAN corn flour and I asked why there are some without expiry date and they complained that I care too much about the expiry date instead of immediately removing them from the shelf and return the ones without expiry date to their supplier as it is ilegal to sell food in Australia without expiry date when they last less than 2 years which is the case of corn flour.
The most amount of stock I have ever seen in such a small space. No room for wheelchairs in this shop
Fantastic source for Spanish and Latin American ingredients, snacks, and cheeses. Went in to pick up some guajillo peppers and left with so much more. The purveyors were also very friendly and helpful.
This place has a great variety of those hard to find foods from Portugal, Spain and South America. Highly recommend.
Great place been going here for so long
Has so many spices and Portuguese food which I love
What an awesome place! Love the truffle cheese amongst the Jamon.
Worth the trip. Great prices.
Awesome customer service. Very knowledgeable and informative.
A Melbourne institution.
Authentic Hispanic ingredients, cooking essentials and festive musts from Iberia to the Americas.
Decades of service to the Hispanic and greater Melbourne family.
Oh.and real chorizo.
Not that Nuovelle Chorizo stuff from the average deli or supermarket not quite right.
What is with that?
Pretty good and authentic stuff please go, I totally recommend it
Try Oaxaca cheese (Mexican cheese), fresh chorizo (also Mexican style) and the many other international things in there.totally worth it
Love this place. Products from South America right here in Melbourne plus many locally made products with flavours from Brazil, Argentina etc!
ACAI tubs straight from Brazil 100% the BEST!
Great deli with a range of fresh, preserved and frozen items. Most items are from Latin American counties
Nice products, but I reckon they need to promote more the other brand located in Preston according to distance now.
I go here to get ingredients to make Mexican enchiladas. They have lots of different kinds of salsas, blue corn tortillas, green and red enchilada sauce, restaurant quality tortilla chips, tamales, hot food, sweets, and lots of other Spanish food items.
If you are looking for Spanish, Portuguese or South American food this is the place to go.
Great range, worth the look
Only place in Melbourne where I can find corn flour for tortillas, chiles secos and queso fresco. All products are over priced, but having a taste from home is worth it.
Good range of latinamerican food at very convenient prices. They have big cans of 'palmitos' something that we Chilen people love, as well as alfajores, manjar, dulce de membrillo, negritas and super8.
