Casa Adagio Daylesford

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Adagio and enjoyable long weekend, late check out was also appreciated.

The only problem with this house is you might not want to leave! We were ten mums who stayed for a weekend and we all absolutely loved it. It's a charming home with its beautiful gardens, gorgeous lounge room with a fireplace, and each room decorated with so much taste. I highly recommend Casa Adagio for your getaway in Daylesford.

Had a great time with old friends. Two living areas (including pool table) worked well. Lots of space. Beautiful surrounds. An extra drinks fridge would have been great for such a big group.but loved the house and will definitely book again?

Great location super close to the Main Street. Very private with lots of outdoor space. The house has everything you need and the owner Anna is so lovely and if you have any issues she fixes it right away for you: check in and out is super simple. Wifi connection is good
There is only one TV so would recommend taking other devices for kids if you need

This beautifully presented home facilitated the coming together of all the branches of our family tree to celebrate my 60 th birthday. It was the little surprises like the kangaroos right near the back deck eating the lawn to the spotting of the beautiful birds in the gum trees. The grandkids loved exploring along the pathways through the garden, with the bigger kids challenging each other at the pool table.
The layout of the house gave us all our own space as well as coming together around the fire in the lounge room to share a laugh and simply chill out!
For me, Casa Adagio gave my family the opportunity to make memories and to enjoy the Daylesford areas many cafes, pubs, spas and shops. Many thanks to all @CA! We will be back x

A very Cosy country house in picturesque Daylesford. We enjoyed a fabulous relaxing family weekend with the open fires, pool table, gardens and short walk into town.

We were a group of 6 people and stayed at Casa Adagio for 3 nights. Wow! Such a gorgeous property with everything we could need. Well equipped kitchen, gorgeous beds and bed linen, excellent bathrooms, spacious areas for chilling out together and separately. We truly loved our time here and Anna, the host was super friendly, responsive and delightful to deal with. The property is secluded and private but just a quick drive or 15-20 min walk to town. Beautiful gardens and outdoor areas. Fantastic pool / billiard room and loved the open fire! Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.

The perfect winter getaway with friends. So comfortable, cosy and stylish. The beds were so comfortable (electric blankets). The fire was ready to light when we arrived and well stocked with wood. We ate in on the first night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Hepburn was only moments away for coffee restaurants and the Palais for entertainment. I highly recommend casa adagio for a home away from home.

We’ve just enjoyed a fabulous family get together here and found Casa Adagio stylish and spacious, fitting all 9 adults, a toddler and a baby in great comfort. Despite the crisp Daylesford weather, the pot bellied stoves and generous room and bathroom heating kept us all snug. The beds were especially warm and cosy. The house was sparkling clean, the well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry was most useful. The garden is lovely, there was a welcoming wallaby on the lawn, and the surrounding bush very relaxing – we really felt away from it all and would love to revisit!

Fabulous weekend with 9 old friends! The house was exactaly what we wanted- fireplace (x 2), well equipt kitchen, large dining table, comfortable coach, lots of space, cosy warm beds, beautiful bath and the garden is gorgeous! The house is a nice 15 minute walk into town along a walking path. We had such a wonderful time in this big house and will be back! Meg

Magnificent outlook (2 wallabies on the lawn when we arrived with the state forest in the background), beautifully appointed, every comfort catered for.

The most cosy and stylish home away from home in Daylesford! Just a couple of minutes by car to the center of town. But also a serene hideaway - the beautiful house and manicured garden is surrounded by lush bush. You might spot a kangaroo or two on the lawn at dusk. Incredibly comfortable beds, with beautiful quality linen and a very well-equipped kitchen. No better place to curl up with a book than in front of the fire in the light-filled reading room. Impeccably styled, with some amazing antiques. Couldn’t recommend Casa Adagio more highly!

The atmosphere of this place is really special, and is perfect for a weekend away with friends. I particularly love the location, with a beautiful bush walk to go on out the back of the property. It has a sizeable kitchen, as well as plenty of beds, and beautiful deck to sit out on in the mornings!

Beautiful house, cozy and light filled, opens up onto lovely garden. Treat yourself to a walk in the bush land nearby and a spa bath to relax after. I especially loved cooking up a storm in the open plan kitchen. Can’t wait to come back!

I love the decor and general "feeling" of this place. Immediately upon arrival i felt myself relax and sink into the cosy environment of this lovely home. The beds are so comfortable. I love each bedroom has an individuality about it. The kitchen facilities are perfect. The gardens of the property are so very pretty and pleasant to be in.

We return to this magical place year after year. I recommend this beautiful home to family, friends and clients all the time. Everything from the decor to the garden is spectacular. I sleep better here than anywhere else in the world. The stunning bedrooms, pool table and incredible kitchen make for a truly memorable stay each and every time. Did I mention the sheets? Everything feels so clean and yet warm and homely. The attention to detail is amazing. Scrabble and or monopoly (even movies are provided) in front of the open fire with a glass of wine! The welcoming book provided with local tips is so useful. Everything we needed is right there, including an endless supply of firewood. I really love the open living spaces and huge family dining table, whilst knowing that you can then tuck away in the privacy of the cosy bedrooms. My children talk about bringing their own family here one day. Thank you for the memories Casa Adagio. Staying here feels like a privilege. Like you opened up a precious family home! See you again in June 2019. We always have the next booking booked in.

My review is based very much upon the price which is quite high. This is not a cheap place to stay, but then you can sleep 10! Ok, so my gripes relate to the details. Simply put they are not being watched and the house is not being maintained. There is a light bulb out in the lights in the TV room. Dead blow flies behind the shutters. The pool turns out to be a fairly small above ground pool with decking around it which was not cleaned before we arrived. The complimentary milk was well past its use by and when used not surprisingly was chunky. The bin in the shared bathroom did not open by the foot pedal and was fixed by us so we could use it. For 10 people there really aren't enough utensils. The large flat screen TV isn't large these days but now medium small. A wheel barrow and ladders were left abandoned outside in one of the court yards and not put away. The knob on the toaster is broken and falls off. It goes on and on. I reckon for the money it should come with internet. For a place for ten people parking is way too tight. So now the good. It is quite spacious. Our family did have a good time. There are there living zones so people can spread out. The garden and general presentation is pretty good. The sheets and towels, kitchen and bathrooms were all clean and nice. The electronic front door is great and all places should have them.
