Bought my first Cartier watch here for a wedding anniversary gift in October. Only when I returned home and presented the gift, did I notice a few issues. I was given an Old faulty Cartier Box (White inner lining) and it had a faulty clasp/ was difficult to close the box. Secondly, the buckle which I bought for the tank was inserted upside down. Singapore's branch sorted both out for me, but this was a dissapointing experience with this particular branch.

My partner and I went to the Collins Street boutique on 30th May, in the afternoon. We spent about 30-35 minutes in the store looking for wedding bands. The male CA with glasses was absolutely snobby and had no idea what he was doing. Every single option we explored was not available. Were my partner likes Cartier, we would not be in cartier in the first place. I guess Cartier has nothing to go with Tiffany setting. Anyway, there was no seat ot refreshment offered throughout our visit, while we were one of the only two sets of clients in the store. No detail was taken from us or business card given at the end of the consultation. I reckon Cartier only makes quick bucks these days with walk-ins?

Purchased a ring from here for my birthday.

My partner scheduled the appointment at Cartier as we are not from Melbourne.

We arrived on time and was greeted and seated for our appointment, offered water on arrival - great.

The sales associate we got came across rather cold and my partner and I felt like we had to navigate the whole appointment ourselves. It also felt rushed and we felt at certain times quite uncomfortable.

Especially when we disclosed to the sales associate when she came up to assist us - what we were after. She brought us to the Love rings. We stood there in silence looking at the rings, she did not appear very warm in personality.it was abit awkward to be honest. She didn't ask us what colour we were after and what purpose of the purchase brought us into Cartier today.

Silence ensued and we had to ask to try on the classic love ring, i knew my ring size, but the band on the classic love ring was obviously very wide for my finger. We mentioned this out loud to one another and stood there waiting for her other recommendations but she didn't say anything. We had to then point out another ring which had a thinner band to which she said "these are the wedding bands. " Okay sure thats fine but she did not recommend any other styles for us and was not making this Cartier experience exceptional.we didnt get any information regarding the Cartier story behind the love ring and the different variations it came in. But we travelled to Melbourne for the purpose of purchasing and we told her we would purchase the ring.

She walked with us to seat us down and fill out some information and that's when she finally decided to make some small talk! She found out what the purchase was for - my birthday and she said she will get this gift wrapped for me -fantastic.

Initially the ring was placed on the tray she held, whist she told me to fill out details on an ipad she said she would get this item gift wrapped. She disappeared behind the door and came back minutes later with a wrapped up box.

We thought she would come back with the ring placed in the red box to show us before she gift wrapped it?
We thought she would also state this is the love ring you have chosen today in this size etc.

How do we know it was wrapped and the correct ring? We have had experience with buying luxury jewellery before and this experience was abit disappointing. The experience with this particular sales associate felt rushed and we didn't feel like the level of service we received lives up to the star ratings on here.

We expected the level of service to be much better. Especially because we scheduled an appointment and it felt like she put in no effort to get to know us as the client and wasn't very warm and did not give us any information about the product we were interested in purchasing. We overheard another sales associate who was telling the customer near us about the product and definitely felt like the service we had was different. It definitely left us feeling like we wouldn't be going back for another purchase which is unfortunate because we love going to visit Melbourne.

My partner and I made our first Cartier purchases last week and the experience did not disappoint! Carl was a fantastic sales associate, he took his time explaining the pieces and showing us plenty of options, he was not pushy whatsoever. He went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more happy with our purchases ️ we will definitely be back!

Thanks Cartier for giving the best advice to my partner to go elsewhere!
My partner went into the store to purchase an engagement ring. He made sure he made an appointment prior to showing up. Upon attendance, it appeared that no one was aware of the appointment. After standing around for 15 minutes, they eventually assigned him a sales assistant who did not appear to be too enthusiastic. My partner knew what he wanted however wanted to know whether the ring Could be customised with a bigger stone. The SA stated no and proceeded to show him rings that he did not ask to see and not to our expectations. The SA then told my partner to perhaps shop at Tiffany’s instead…… my partner do not have a profile at Cartier but I do, I guess I will take my money in the future elsewhere too! Thanks for the advice tho, we ended up with an Argyle diamond with a jeweller that worked for Cartier.

Never ever again shop at this shop they exploit people thinking everyone is stinking rich, $275 bucks to repair a tiny bracelet one tiny tiny chain broke, fragile little thing, and a 4 week wait.

This was my first Cartier purchase and definitely won’t be the last. The entire process from booking an appointment to making a purchase was extremely seamless. I was looked after by Mary. Mary - thank you for making it a comfortable and pleasurable experience. Your customer service is top notch.

My partner and I went to the Collins street store today. Waited and waited.as mentioned by many other comments below, we were told a sales person would come and serve us shortly.but no one eventually came. It is the first time my partner and I ever look for an engagement ring and we came with excitement (preparing for wedding it’s always beautiful). Unfortunately our mood was ruined by the poor services. Really bad experience at this store. We ended up going to Tiffany where we felt welcomed and received excellent services.

I visited their boutique few times looking to purchase our wedding bands. Initially I've been looked after by Francesco who provided an outstanding service: well mannered, patient and very professional.

Despite not having purchased on my first visit, Francesco kept in contact with me discussing further about size, colour and style. He ran the extra mile just to make sure I was happy and not stressed about it.

Today I went in store and this time Jenny looked after me. Again the service was impeccable and her attention to detail was remarkable.

Thank you Francesco and Jenny!

So far this is the most luxurious experience I've had in Australia and I look forward to purchase from you in future.

Went in a few weeks ago to get my fiance his wedding band and was offered lovely service by Olivia. She had lots of knowledge and recommendations as to what would be the best. Even made the sizing exchange a smooth process, thanks Olivia and Cartier Melbourne!

Even though i didn’t have an appointment, i was determined to buy a ring on that day. I went to the the store 45 minutes before closing and Francesco went above and beyond with the service. My partner and I got the rings we wanted and the whole experience was phenomenal. We were out of the store by 6pm and with a big smile on our face. Thank you Francesco!

Apparently they don't have a phone.

I left my watch to repair the clasp. My name and therefore my email address were badly written on the repair order so I never got the quote in 5 weeks. They did have my phone number but apparently making a call is not part of the Cartier service.

They made an estimate for a maintenance of the movement, my watch was seen two months ago in Europe by a watchmaker jeweler whom I know because I am in the business. All the big brands do this.

So I got my watch back 5 weeks later in the same condition as when I dropped it off.
I have to leave Melbourne so my watch is still unwearable.

Thanks for the huge waste of time.

My friend in Europe will send me the clasp and I will place it by myself quicker.

I casually walked into Cartier on a busy Sunday afternoon to enjoy a relaxing browse.trying on different pieces and pondering over what I would like to buy soon.
The sales assistants were very patient and attentive though I was only browsing at this time.they still remained very accommodating.offering lovely service without the hard sales pitch. A very big thank you to Camilo for his gracious welcoming.caring attention and hospitality. He went above & beyond to ensure that I and others in the store.truely felt relaxed and welcomed. Looking forward to my next visit but this time to walk away with a little red box or two. See you soon. Camilo.exceptional service!

I purchased from Maggie for the second time for my partners birthday and it was such a beautiful experience. The time and service she gives to her clients is amazing, she pays close attention to her clients interests and and makes you feel very close and comfortable.
