The Tim Tam Slam chia seed pudding and their chicken bagel were awesome but their almond flat white was subpar especially considering how pretentious the barista who served me was.
Good food, meh coffee, blah service.

Excellent filtered coffee beans for my v60 and aeropress. Lots of choice and all of them are delicious.
They have batch brew available and standard espresso coffee available.
The staff are all wonderful and knowledgeable about the coffee. It's a pleasure to come in when I visit Geelong.
Lots of parking nearby and only a short walk to other attractions such as the shopping centre and waterfront.

Blends & single origins I have tried have been second to none, only problem for me is not wanting to get coffee out anymore as I find myself regularly disappointed with others after having these coffee beans. Prices good for the quality. I can only review the beans as I live in Adelaide & order online.

Highly recommended, one of my favorite place in Geelong. The vibe, service, and food was perfect. Furthermore, the cocktails and the drinks are incredible along with the bar atmosphere. Everything was great.

I'm a fussy coffee person and by fussy I mean I only want a flat white.with no froth. "But flat whites have NO froth! " you are thinking. Right? Not according to too many cafes / baristas in Geelong. Everything is a damn latte. Except at Cartel Brewers. Not only did I get a flat flat white but I currently can't drink/eat anything too hot (it's a whole story, believe me), but they made it to my order of 55°. Beautiful. Lovely location, great decor. I didn't eat aything but the people I was with raved about the croissant donut (?) and the blue cheese chorizo burger.

I had a Mocha and a bagel, the coffee didn’t have a good quality and bagels’ price surprised me with poor quality and had a part of the bagel burnt and a bit too toasted making it hard.
My only experience there though. Maybe a one time mistake.

Ordered a flat white which was smooth, balanced and not milky, with a mild roast aftertaste. Very good coffee.

Popped in here after arriving into Geelong for a much needed coffee and late lunch, we had the veg and Rueben bagels. Both were pretty yummy. Coffee, though, wasn’t anything special. But maybe it was just that coffee… The venue altogether had a good atmosphere, and sitting outside under shade was nice. Maybe a little costly…

Best coffee in Geelong / Melbourne / anywhere. I dare you to prove me wrong Best place to get high quality beans too, single origin speciality coffee at a reasonable price. Environmentally friendly options - buy a jar and bring it in to refill. Try the filter coffee / batch brew and you'll never be satisfied with anything else!
