Really impressed fantastic food and great service. What I also loved is that they fill everything to the top.

This is one of the best family operated food outlets in the area. Their chicken is always cooked perfectly and tastes delicious. The gyros plates are great. Don't skip their home-made dim sims too. Great range of salads and sides. Always a great meal. Thanks.

Kosta provided exceptional service even though it was extremely busy. Kosta was able to create a positive atmosphere whilst busy preparing our delicious hsp. He made it a very positive experience and created the best hsp ever (it hit the spot so hard). Highly recommended!

Pretty inconsistent. Chips tasted like that had zero seasoning and the chicken tasted slightly boiled or poached even. Used to love this place, unfortunately the amount of younger staff have hurt the care and quality. Oh well.

The best souvlaki I’ve ever had! A hidden gem under the Carrum overpass. I had a traditional souvlaki with small chips and a can of drink and I could have shared this with my husband it was so filling.

George & his bro know how to cook up proper gyros & chickens on charcoals. No one comes close. Best

Best charcoal chicken in the area

Great place, best charcoal chicken on the peninsula, friendly staff, consistently delicious food. Even stayed open late for me when I was running late to pick up my dinner. Have Given a good fed many many times. Staple of the Carrum area.

The chicken is cooked well and the salads are fresh. I took the family here and honestly the best charcoal chicken and lamb I had with the family are still talking about it very good prices friendly staff and the owner knows exactly what his doing thank you again for the delicious foods

Ordered on Uber eats. The chips are thick chips like you’d see in a fish and chip shop. Really wish it was a classic charcoal chip with a richer gravy. Anyway, already in a fragile state and this has put more of a damper on my day. Maybe the chicken burger would be better next time

I’ve been heaps Of times for a souvlaki, they are always good, sometimes even great, depends who makes them, there can be quite the gap between great and just ok. I’ll be back, nice and local.
Friendly staff, plenty of kids work here, so good employers.

Was disappointed with the lamb souvlaki, the lamb lacked the seasoning and flavors you would expect from char grilled meat.

Whilst a fan, unfortunately quality is inconsistent. This time around they sneakily snuck in a dried out chicken that had been sitting there maybe since the day prior, plus mixed in old chips with new. For $23.00 I want the usual standard of quality……I will go back to this business but not for a while and I will be telling them I don’t want a dried out old chicken like last time. I also arrived at 5pm expecting a fresh chook. Really not happy this time, see you down the track a bit Charcoal Chickens as I personally won’t be back for a long while!

Traditional souvlaki - nice light flat bread, tender smokey lamb with mild and balanced Tzatziki - enjoyable!

Really good chicken, lovely "cooked over charcoal" taste. Great selection of salads too - the egg salad and chicken &pasta salad are next level! Highly recommended.

My first and last time, food is good but you guys lack service so badly. Waited 20 mins for a gravy and a pita which should be 10 mins max wait time for that especially with 5 staff running around even in the busy period.

Best HSP hands down. If u want real lamb/chicken this is the place to go to, proper charcoal meat. Fair prices too and they always fill it right up can’t go wrong here.

Awsome chips and souva's theres a reason this place is always so busy, definitely a favourite for smoko's when im in the area
