Carrington Park reviews
19Carrington Park Playspace Upgrade is complete and it looks awesome, with activities for all ages. Wonderful place for little ones and seniors.
Nice field for sports.the badminton court got new playing surface and a play area is coming up for kids.
This is a great place to watch some cricket and the kids can play on a new park which will be opening soon i believe. All the new infrastructure looks awesome. Even has an RC car track that needs some work but still fun. And don't forget the cricket scoreboard is awesome as well. Well worth a visit on the weekends.
Great for taking our Akitas for a walk and allow them to stretch their legs. Quiet sections away from semi busy secondary roads are good for picnics and family gatherings.
The recent updates which include a walking track and pavement around the oval makes it a great space to watch sporting teams. There is also a playground, squash courts, tennis centre and cricket nets. All your sporting needs in one park
I have never seen this place so empty it feels weird to shop now, I can't wait until the Covid-19 Vaccine is available?
Cool playground. Safe, quiet sprawling suburban open area and refuge. And the Carrington Park Activity/Leisure Centre hosts a range of community minded sports and pastimes as well as being an ideal bookable venue for a wide range of events. It is also home to Knox's largest family minded domestic basketball club, the Ferntree Gully Falcons.
I dropped someone off to the hall for a party. There was plenty of parking and there was street signage so the place was very easy to find. If you have a lowered vehicle, the speed humps might be too high for you to get over as my vehicle scraped over every one.
Big grassy park with trees, footy oval and lots of room to run around. Has an adventure playground at one end of the park. Good for #kids #letsguide
Carrington Park is located to the north and east of Bunnings on Ferntree Gully Road Knoxfield. The area comprises a cricket ground (Knoxfield CC) and community centre off O'Connor Road. There is also a tennis club and miniture car section. There is also an elderly citizen building and playground. Lots of parking.
Plenty of space for the kids to run around.
Cricket, tennis, football. All can be pkayed here
Well stocked store with reasonable market prices, especially those branded specifically for Bunnings. Of course it's always advisable to shop for the best available price first.
Just parked in their carpark to walk through to the Karate classes at community centre at the rear.for my grandchildren.but over 4 weekly visits I am impressed to see the variety of activities being carried out. All family oriented. Cricket games and practice. Yesterday it was football training. It's great to see an area not covered with grafeti. It's a nice walk over the grassed well maintained areas around the oval.
Good stores. Entry fee is unfair. Why charge visitor for entry and charge business owner to have a stand. Double dipping
Very handy spot for a quick whatever you need to get a job big or small done.
Good prices, generous opening hours, very rarely don't have what you need.
The only thing is that it can sometimes be.difficult to find a staff member. More particularly, today I needed advice, the bloke answered my question but seemed annoyed that I interrupted him.
Went to find the Karate school situated in community buildings behind Bunnings. Was hard to see how to access the driveway. So parked in the reserve car park grabbed directions from the locals and walked though. On the way looked at the cricket club rooms. Saw junior cricket in full swing.training and even a BBQ sausage sizzle. This was a Friday night around 5.30pm.there were families picknicking all over the place. Wow what a community asset. Being well patronised. Will take some pics next time.
My recent experience with Bunnings scoresby is very enjoyable. I had to replace a damage pot at my original purchase. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Purchased paint requirements. Friendly staff service. We were also looking for deck cover. Caylah was very helpful and showed us efficiently which products to purchase.
