Customer service here is Absolutely Disgusting. Whilst my brother was the customer, I came to give him a hand with transporting his floor boards. I was greeted with "Here is dumb and dumber" by the sales assistant as she came outside. What a "great" introduction. Instead of having a conversation, and coming up with solution, she was very argumentative and kept antagonising us. Very unprofessional and she should be reprimanded. DO NOT pre pay, as when I arrived at the location, his order was placed outside and the roller door closed. Luckily it did not rain as this surely would have damaged the floor boards. Found out afterwards that she was rude inside and she wanted us out of there. Again DO NOT pre pay. Won't be going back here again and do not recommend

Floorworld staff are amazing to deal with! From the initial contact with Con, Helen and of course Brendan amazing installer. It was a risk not seeing the flooring in person due to Covid but after a conversation with Con and price hikes I had to lock in my order! We went with the Quickstep Valley Oak Light Beige Laminate - Majestic. We love the wide and long boards knowing we have piece of mind with waterproof, scratch resistant and classy finish. It’s an all rounder that makes our house look spacious and easy to walk on. We love it and have to worry about Mauntence. Thanks again Floorworld Thomastown for exceptional customer service and expertise during a pandemic!

Con and team at Floorworld were brilliant to deal with. Their knowledge and expertise was excellent and valuable. Especially when making a decision on the type and colour of the flooring.
Brendan the installer was a true professional. The job was completed in timely manner with no issues at all. I would use the team again and would recommend them to anyone interested in changing their flooring.

Ben was so lovely to deal with. I was acknowledged the moment I walked through the door. He addressed all my concerns and was a good listener. He was patient while choosing colours and really helped me make my decision. He also let me take home some samples and have a think about it overnight. I recently went to the place next door and I walked around the store for half hour and wasn't acknowledged. I also visited several flooring stores along the industrial strip and none had the quality and variety as Floorworld. I highly recommend this place.

We had a very positive experience at Carpets Galore Floorworld, Thomastown. They even had a TV set up, so that we could plonk our kids down and actually concentrate on what we were doing! We first spoke to Steve over the phone, then met him in person at the showroom. From the get-go, we were really impressed by his enthusiasm, knowledge and recommendation (s) regarding the type of carpet that would suit our new house. He was spot-on in terms of the colour, quality and price-point. He arrived super early to do our quote (knowing that we only had a 45 minute window during our pre-settlement inspection) and provided us with a written quote later that day, which was very much appreciated. Our new carpet installation was completed this afternoon. We just had a look around and are thrilled to bits with the end result! Overall, I cannot recommend Steve and Thomastown team highly enough. They are very professional and extremely efficient.

It doesn't matter what or when, the service Helen and Con deliver is professional, precise and friendly. Another task thrown their way (luckily just before another lockdown) and our new corridor has been completed with the same flooring as we put into our house over 5 years ago. I've just had vinyl flooring and carpet installed in our corporate office. The whole experience from quotation to completion has been great. Really polite, professional and extremely efficient gentlemen carrying out the work. It has been a pleasure having them in the office (way ahead of schedule too).

Our experience with Floorworld Thomastown have been unpleasant at the time of paying deposit.
We got a quote from them in late Jan ($21680 incl GST) for our new house. Also applied home loan with same flooring quote. We visited them almost every weekend since then to collect sample of laminate, carpet and match colors.
The itemized quote was discussed with us several times in showroom prior to deposit. Our home loan was approved and colors were locked in early April. We came to showroom to discuss the final price on 6th April. The person in store checked with the supplier and gave us a call to discuss final price on Tuesday, 9th April. I told rep that will come on weekend to put 50% deposit for flooring as we want to finalise our flooring. Our construction is almost finishing in couple of months.
We were advised at the time of deposit on weekend that they forgot to charge us installation for laminate. The itemized quote was reviewed several times prior to deposit. I was also advised on phone that same price will be honoured even it was out of 28 days.
I got a call from person after weekend that same flooring with all same options will cost us now $28,000 (incl GST). The way that entire situation was handled and advising additional cost on phone was very unprofessional.
16/04 - I have changed my rating as owner contacted me today. She explained the situation properly and acknowledged the error in quote.
