I recently had some carpet installed in my lounge room and dining room. The installation was not a good experience.
The price was competitive and the service was attentive.
My complaint relates to the fact that I was not told that VOCs (volitile organic chemicals) can affect a person. The presence of VOCs was confirmed with a professional air quality meter. I suffered respiratory issues as well as eye and throat irritation for weeks. At the time of the installation I was examined by ambulance officers because of the irritation caused by the VOCs.
The previous carpet was not completely taken up which resulted in the new carpet not being smooth. It is a constant source of irritation.

A very positive experience with The Carpet Shed 16 years ago took us back there recently. We were very impressed with the extensive range of quality carpets and even more impressed with the excellent customer service provided by Mitchell and also by Vince and Adam who installed our new carpet very efficiently.

I was recommended by Peter to deal with Mitch in getting our home carpeted. The service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Mitch went above and beyond my expectations and we finally (after covid) had the carpet installed by Vince. He was great to deal with and we are over the moon by the finished product. I had purchased there before and also recommended a few other people. I must have been dealing with the owner. I wanted to re carpet again do I went back. What a nightmare
I was told I needed to but under lay fir a extra $1000 or the new carpet would not last. Not true boys. I was quoted very high price for a out let store abs the service was horrible. After I complained. I was almost violently thrown out my the grandson, thank god I jet his father business card. I found another outlet carpet store it’s was absolutely fabulous I saved $1.500. I will never go back to the violent bad service overpriced rude rib off again

They're great team and the ability to see the carpet in more detail due to their display area is fantastic.

Down to earth, real carpet store. I mean I could go and pick my own roll of carpet, and the prices are all on them. Not relying on dodgy typical carpet sales snakes.
