Very impressed with Carpet Call. Professional service from the start of process until the completion of installation very reasonable priced and the two guy's that installed our new carpet were exceptional done a great job. I would certainly use carpet call again highly recommend. Cheers

We just moved in our first home that had an unmistakable stink of dog urine. We made contact with Paul and not only was he able to come down to take measurements the same afternoon, but his service was beyond excellent. He matched the quote we had from another place and made sure the carpet was installed the same weekend. On top of this, the carpet installer called Clint did a marvellous job in installing the carpets in a 4 bedroom house and an angled stairway in just two mornings.

Could not rate their service high enough. I will recommend this store without a shadow of doubt.

Recently had 200sq metres of hybrid flooring installed, very happy with results, flooring looks amazing. Thanks to Brendon, Terry and Rob for their hard work. Can thoroughly recommend Carpet Call Pakenham for this project.

Carpet call pakenham has been an absolute nightmare to deal with!
I bought a new property in January and needed some flooring done to replace the carpet. I had notified the staff that the floors I require need to be waterproof and also suitable for a beauty salon. They recommended hybrid floors which I was happy with as I trusted their professional advice. 2-3 months in, and I noticed my floors started to chip and lift in the area I was standing on and using my wheelie chair (which I don’t move around in). I called them and they told me to send images which I did but everything I would send an email it would bounce back. I tried sending a message to customer service via the carpet call website and never got a response, finally I called them again and managed to find a way to send an image through and what I was told is that they couldn’t help me and the floors aren’t covered through warranty even though it’s only been a few months since they were installed, they were rude and unhelpful. I even have a spare box of floorboards and was happy to use that if they could have someone re-install the damaged ones but they refused. I’ve gone to another carpetcall store and they were shocked and appalled with the quality of the job and told me I should have gone with a different floor that would be glued down for commercial use but this wasn’t told or recommended to me. I’m so disappointed with the quality and service from carpet call pakenham, such a waste of money and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, I’ve had so many clients see the flooring and they would now stay away from them.

The operator we dealt with was very friendly, very informative and at no time tried to pressure us about what we wanted. Also it was pleasing to know up front that prices will be increased 1st March. In saying this we know we can make a deposit and have the current rates fixed in.

We had problem after problem. Timber flooring was laid but it couldn’t be finished as the installer didn’t have enough material to finish the job. This particular installer did a lovely job, however we waited and waited to get the job finished. Phone calls were not returned. We made multiple trips to the store 25 minutes away. There was a huge mess that was left behind that we had to clean up and dispose of. Waited weeks for the job to be finished…. They wanted us to finish it ourselves!
Same with the carpet. Job ½ done. Had trouble getting them back and phone calls were not returned. Bronze trim was used instead of silver that we requested. Carpet layers broke a new ducted heating return that we bought, then stole a new large roll of painters Frog Tape that they asked to borrow. No compensation or replacement was offered. The trim was replaced with a cheaper looking alternative to the one we chose, but slate tiles around a fireplace were cracked during the process and we now have to look at having it repaired or replaced. We asked that they keep the carpet remnants, but they didn’t. Rubbish was dumped in our driveway. We had to move it as we couldn’t get our car out of the garage. It was eventually removed weeks later. The carpet installer used the toilet and left a disgusting mess behind, which had to be disinfected and cleaned before anyone else could use it. We were offered a 25 year guarantee for the carpet but have ended up with nothing in writing. Nails are sticking out of the trim, it's loose, and we have to be careful when barefoot. We have 3 more rooms to carpet, but will be going elsewhere. Store owners are nice enough, but full of BS. They need to get their act together and look at employing some decent (and respectful) installers. Not worth the headache and stress.

Latest update, (a few weeks after installation) my husband injured his foot on a nail sticking out of the trim which was not properly installed and he required medical treatment. We now have a carpet mat over the trim.
Reply to this review/complaint took weeks and is inadequate. In their reply Carpet Call requested the the invoice number, which they already have, and they now need to contact us to rectify the problems and not simply send a standard computer generated response to all complaints then ignore the issues.

Months later.still waiting for response from Carpet Call for, replacement for damaged/stolen items, replacement of edging strip and repairs to cracked slate.

Customer service was great. We went with vinyl flooring, they were very helpful and patient with us on deciding colours. Workmanship was fantastic. Would recommend to everyone!

If your after any type of flooring, rugs, carpet & laminate We were greeted by Brian, he helped us select a rug that we needed for our lounge & was extremely helpful & had a vast experience with certain textures & blends that would suit us, hard wearing & scotch guarded, as we have dog's we were very open to what would work best for our family Great work guys keep it up!

Paul at Carpet Call was really good and knows his carpet. The installers on the other hand were no good. They left a mess on the carpet which I can live with but wasn't happy about. The carpet in sections is to short and when you look where it meets the skirting board you can see the edge instead of it rolling down the skirting. The edge running along the skirting board isn't straight. They left a 20mm stone under the carpet so I had to pull up the corner to get the stone out. There were black strands sticking up from the edge of the carpet which I had to go around and cut of so I could paint the skirting boards as they scratched almost all of them. They even cut the skirting boards with a blade leaving a large cut in one section. They marked a wall which was well above the skirting board so I have no idea how that happened. They also broke the edge of a tile. To top it off one used the toilet and didn't lift the seat and left wee on the toilet seat. I'm going to assume the installers were subbies. No one from carpet call rang to see how the install went. It's common for people who use subcontractors to ring up and check or inspect the work to make sure it's of standard. I'm not sure why that hasn't happened. I've waited almost a week to post this review to give them a chance to make contact.

Service from Paul 10/10. Installation 1/10.

The quality of the carpet and underlay is very good and I'm happy with that.

My last stop for carpet and Laminate after looking everywhere and I mean everywhere! I have finally found what I wanted with the help of the guys there. No big sales talk, just a discussion on the products I liked. I'm confident they are going to do a great job!

Been waiting to come down to Pakenham from
drouin but had to wait till we were allowed to travel to Metro.
Was definitely worth the wait, we received the best customer service I have had in a very long time. The sales man was so friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped in the shop explaining the different qualities of the rugs.
We picked out 2 beautiful rugs and got them
For a great price.
Will definitely be recommending this store to all our friends for their carpets or rugs.
And to top it off he barracked for Essendon like my partner so they had a good chat about the footy to.

Went here last month was greeted by paul gave us a quote with our measurements Yani came out for a final measurement. They were so friendly got our house recarpeted
After the house was done we went back to purchase a beautiful rug again customer service was great paul helped us with all our queries. 1 more rug to purchase save some more $$$$ to come back and purchase another thanks guys appreciate it
Oh also the guys that laid the carpet did a great job didnt get their names.

We are very happy with the service from Carpet Call in Pakenham. The price was excellent. The carpet was laid one week after we placed the order.

We had new carpet laid yesterday and Carpet Call did a wonderful job. The gentleman who came to give us a quote spent a lot of time with us going over the pros and cons of different carpets and making sure that we were happy with our choice. He also came back after completion of the job to check it and make sure that we were happy with everything. The carpet layers, Kim and Clint, did a fantastic job. Very neat and tidy and they were so friendly and obliging. They even helped to move our furniture back for us. Big thumbs up for Carpet Call Pakenham!

Had vinyl timber flooring installed throughout the house as part of an overall reno we were doing. Paul and Yani and their team could not be faulted. They worked in with our timeline and our other contractors to produce an outstanding result. We've had a great experience.
