Carpark access to Griffiths Island

Beautiful walk if you have the time and the weather is favourable.
Lovely colours of the water.

This is a very nice place to visit very scenic and makes for a great sunny day activity.
The Walk is best done when high tide is in as you can get some stunning photos of the waterways.
The walk is part paved and part gravel and can be done as a circuit walk taking in a beach or two.

Excellent car park. Really enjoyed the asphalt mix they used in the surface and the line marking was exquisite. Don't bother with the walk to the lighthouse, stick to the carpark and enjoy that bitumen.

Free to park and pretty ample parking. The toilets are back in Matins Reserve. A short walk, but annoying drive as there is a one way system. Limited shade in the car park, if you need shade park in Matins reserve. There is a information shelter about the island at the edge of the car park before the causeway.
