Carosello: Pizza, Pasta & Grill

This was our first time here, but will not be our last, the food was excellent, service great, the place was busy and we thought we would have to wait a while for our meals or even a waiter, but this was not the case, waiters everywhere and each with a smile and friendly nature, and food was served in good time. Would defiantly recommend this restaurant, and the cocktails are good too.

Great food and friendly staff. The music and acoustics were a bit too much. Quite busy and noisy.

Busy restaurant with a vibe and great hearty meals. Their chocolate mousse is absolutely delicious

Came in without a reservation and was lucky enough to get a table. Steak gnocchi and dessert all 5-stars. Great service too.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. As always, Jordan gave us an exceptional dining experience. The 400km round trip was worth it for a special Father's Day dinner. Thank you!

Great food. Arancini delicious. Osso bucco ragu and seafood marinara both had wonderful flavour. Service was fast and staff very polite and efficient. It was very busy and a little noisy, but apart from that the whole experience was great. Will definitely be back to try some pizza soon.

Have dined at Carosello now three times in as many months - for good reason.
The service is professional, friendly and very efficient and the food is consistently good. The cozze (mussels in a tomato sauce sitting on top of the best pizza bread) is my go-to every time - 10 out of 10!

Have eaten there twice now, food is amazing. Probably the best Italian food I have had in a long time, service is fantastic and is always busy. Will be eating there again and can highly recommend

My second time dining here. And still exceeds my expectations. The foods were great. The staff were excellent. Me and my friends had great time.

Came with the intention of getting pizza, but prices were like those you find at the Crown casino, so went with the parmigiana instead. Instead of having the side of cos lettuce, I was able to replace it with vegetables. These were seasoned well, but the eggplant pieces were tough, so couldn’t eat those. It was very filling.
They were extremely busy around 6pm on a Sunday. We waited almost 15min before being served, but the food then did not take too long to come out.
The young waitress was very friendly & her younger brother, also a waiter, adorable.
There are toilets located upstairs. U sure if also ground floor for those who can’t climb stairs? !

Great food, great service and reasonable prices. The owner Mark is a nice guy. Would recommend.

I dined with friends at Carosellos last evening, 18 Feb, 2023. My 3 friends were very happy with their meals. However I ordered Moreton Bay Bug risotto. I got a plateful of rice in a tomato sauce and 1 Moreton Bay Bug which yielded the tiniest amount of meat for this huge dish of rice. I read that a MBB weighs approximately 200 gm and meat yield could be about 60g depending on the bug. There was nowhere near 60 gr.of meat on my plate. I often order MBB when eating out and the minimum number of bugs I’ve had were 3 and that was an entree. The Recommended ‘Retail’ Price is $39.00 for 500gr of MMB.
I don’t need to say how disappointed I was and @ $39 I felt ripped off and annoyed that basically what I got was a plateful of rice with some tomato-based sauce - oh and 1 bug! My friends agreed.

Great place to eat, and I never can fault the food or the service.
We come here alot it's our come too place for lunches and dinners, brining different friends with us and everytime you get everything perfect.
And although you were very busy this night we didn't have to wait long for service, drinks or food to arrive AAA+ there.
The food was so flavoursome and the swordfish was melt in your mouth perfect, hats off to the chef (well done) if we werent so full we would of ordered desserts
(next time for sure as they too are great)
All the 6 people thoroughly enjoy our meals and dining experience.
And it as good to see you had a good amount of wait staff on hand so there was no waiting or food arriving.
Alot of hospitally could use what you have an understanding of great service great food great staff
What more can I say treat yourself and on your next lunch/dinner date give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Had a great time with frienda in a party of 4. They gave us a pass with timed seating as we kept spending which was great. Drinks were timely and service was sharp. Noisy environment but that's normal. Pizza and pasta was solid.

They definitely got a great chef, the food tastes amazing. And the staff are well trained. Definitely come back soon.

After arriving for an 8pm reservation, it took 15 mins to be seated. On top of this, we waited another 45 mins for any food to come out after ordering. When that food finally came, it was all at once. The dishes were decent, but certainly not worth the price and wait time. The pasta was a little too salty and the pizzas had uneven dough - thick, dense crust and thin, soggy base. We won't be coming back in a hurry unfortunately.

First time diner after many recommendations to eat here. The service by Milly and Liv was amazing.very attentive and friendly, and especially for young people they were well trained! The Bug risotto was the best i have eaten, so much flavour and cooked to perfection. The pizza was so light and fluffy.they had over 280 people for a Tuesday night so they must be doing the right things ;-)
the wine menu could be better, and if they had warm marinated olives it would be 10/10.i give them 9.5
