Was camping nearby and made an effort to come in almost every day for three weeks bc of how good the food and service is. I’ve been getting the same chips gravy and cheese and it is just so good. The workers are so lovely and always started convos with me and other customers. Would 100% recommend. They also have everything thing there from sea food to chicken to slushies to milkshakes and much more.

Great managers/owners. The kitchen hand needs more experience; asked for chicken salt but chips were not salted.

I have been to the Yea and Mansfield stores several times previously which have been Good. Today ordered 1/4 chicken, chips and salad. They forgot the salad. Received replacement in a seperate container. It was terrible. Super oily and the spinach was slimy. Must have been frozen. Worst salad I have ever tasted. Paid extra for a terrible glue-like mayo. Chips and chicken average.

Bought chicken and chips from here many times. Always the best tastiest chips and chicken that you will find. The coffee was nice and hot and yummy as well.
Can’t wait to go back. Service was quick even with a steady stream of locals and tourists looking for their delicious meals.
You can eat it outside or take it away.
Caroline has another store in yea so eat and enjoy.

Super friendly new owner, has a laugh / joke / banter. Had chicken souvlaki - really nice. Cooked nicely and with a smile. And hey, we’d love to hear some African / Yarouba tunes coming through

For a Chicken shop i would expect the main item being Chicken to be cooked to perfection but no it was as dry and tough as. The chips were terrible tasted like old oil. The staff could also learn some customer service skills, my buzzer went off and i stood at the counter waiting for the server to acknowledge me but too busy talking between them selves. I was expected to know that my food was waiting at the end of the counter around the corner, silly me. Wont be going there again.

$50 spent and their was 3 mistakes on our order. So we went back in and they were painfully difficult to deal with. Wont come back.

Not sure if we ate at the same place as other reviews, but will not be back. Chips were under cooked, chicken over cooked and incredibly dry, burger patty appeared to be generic frozen mess and fish was dripping in oil. Head to and through Mansfield a fair bit and thought we’d give this a crack as a quick and easy option before heading out of town…. Never again.

Roast chicken n chips are just warm if hot would be good I have to reheat them in the oven

Absolutely horrendous customer service and lack of respect. The owner forced us to wait outside to look at a menu that was non-existant due to not wanting people to think the restaurant was "full". The owner also has had complaints of racism in the past and I understand the sentiment now after seeing how we were treated. If you have any self-respect or dignity, do not give this place your business and visit any of the other lovely and welcoming cafe and restaurants along the strip.

Was told not to crowd the restaurant when deciding what to order because it's "bad for business". So we went outside and into a better restaurant (The Witches brew cafe).

It costs $0 to not be an a**hole.

Service was good and the only reason for two stars. Chicken and fried rice was dry. Think they had a chip shortage also ‍️

Simply amazing service with burgers to go on for dayssssss, steak burger definitely worth driving down for especially if u happen to drive by Mansfield otw to Mt Buller for skiing

We first discovered this shop in 2019 on our way to Mt Buller. Best chips and gravy we have ever had! In fact we had to go back twice for the great food! 2022 comes around and we are back on our way to Mt Buller, had to stop in here for another amazing serve! Same friendly staff, amazing prices and great food in a timely manner! Could not recommend this shop enough. If ever we are nearby we will definitely be back.

Fish was rotten and stunk of ammonia, potato cake stunk and chips where small tiny pieces very disappointed.

Absolute best service and worth eating flakes and chicken.
My kids loved the ice cream from Aunt caroline.
