I really liked this pool it has a nostalgic feel and I like that it's not a modern box building like the garbage designs today. Please don't let this pool fall victim to a revamp just leave it alone. Its a nice little nugget!
And hurry up and reopen it!

This is arguably the best outdoor pool in Melbourne. Its built as a post war memorial pool & the simplicity of a 50 metre pool, a toddler pool & a diving pool works well. There are large grassed areas to relax on. Its perfect for families. Occasionally, the old boiler is not working so if cold water bothers you ring & check the water temperature.

With the coming redevelopment lets hope it doesnt become a major centre reducing the grassed area. It would be great if it was open all year round.

I hope the redevelopment tries to maintain its simplicity. Often less is more.

Great swimming pool. Love the outdoor pools. Kids love the diving boards. Only thing us they have way to many lap lanes open the general public on gets two lanes to swim in and on a hot day they are jammed full

I like the swimming pool and the place in general. I think they should have a better offering when it comes to food.

The car park is big enough although in summer must be very full.

The staff is very nice.

Great place fo swim. It doesn't seem as crowded as a lot of other pools I've been too. Good showers with enough soap to give you a quick scrub. Price for a single entry isn't too bad either.

The swimming pool needs a very good clean, lots of rubbish and dirt at the bottom of the pool, we still like this pool it's our back yard

Friendly staff and pool is clean. Occasional rubbish from families here and there. Other wise nice for a cheaper option.

Suburban community swimming pool. Larger lawn areas. Large pools. Gets very busy during peak periods. Sebastian during the quieter periods

Good coaching; good staff & the lifeguards are always very vigilant. My kids love playing in the kids pool and the water slides.

Nice outdoor place to swim and relax. Gets very busy in the school holidays, and the undercover areas get taken and full pretty quickly, definately recommend sunscreen as you don't really notice the heat while in the pool, but the sun is directly over the 50m so it's easy to get burnt while swimming. There's a lot of grass spaces and a few scattered tables. The kiosk is pretty minimal, but offers a few snack options. If you're here swimming by yourself you can leave your bag near your lane or off to the side and it's usually pretty safe, but the centre doesn't take any responsibility for your items. It does have two decent sized kids pools but parents still sometimes take them to the 50m pool. The 50m is usually set up for laps and aqua play - with a fast, medium and slow lane, and then the aqua section usually takes up at least 2 lanes - sometimes more during holiday periods. I was there on a weekday around 3pm - and left around 5. It was pretty quiet at 3, but definately picked up around 4/5 when school lets out as there are a few primary and high schools in the area.

Perfect local pool with authentic retro style vibes. Relaxed atmosphere. Perfect place to make happy family memories. Staff & lifeguards are attentive and friendly. Practical shade cloth over the toddler and wading pools. A very different atmosphere to GESAC, and for all the right reasons. True- the change rooms are ready for some update loving. CSC: Melbourne's best kept aquatic secret in the 'burbs.

Love this swimming pool. My family have been going here since I was little (I am 28 now). Now we take my nieces and they love it as well. 2 great shaded pools, one for toddlers which is as deep as my ankle and one for older kids which comes up to my knees. There is a slide in the toddlers pool that looks like a frog and there is always a lifeguard stationed at that pool.
The staff are friendly, i think they have a good range of stuff at the kiosk, although I wish they had hot chips, and their prices are pretty reasonable. We get 3 adults and 2 children in for about 22 bucks:)

I like the fact that I can see all the pools from one spot. It can’t really compete with big indoor aquatic centres and I haven’t used the change rooms so can’t comment on them, but if you just want to take the kids for a swim outside when it’s really hot, it’s a good place to go.
