Carnegie Central reviews
68Great shopping strip. Mostly Asian eateries; as well as other shops. Ross Town Hotel in the street. Comes alive at night with people going to restaurants.
Lots of grocery stores. Asian Grocer, Woolies, and Aldi. Spotlight is also amazing. They have some sitting places. Toilets on 1st and 2nd floors.
It's a faceless mall. Free parking underneath.
Has a food court, supermarkets, spotlight.
Pete the chef spruiks every Saturday.
Its quite a behemoth and an eyesore compared to old Carnegie, but that's progress!
Do not order from or allow Spotlight Carnegie to install inside blinds. When one of my blinds came crashing down on my head it revealed the fitting had been screwed with two quite large screws into a very narrow wooden window surround splitting the wood and ruining the windiw frame. On examination of another blind in a different area the same split wood in the window frame was obvious thank heaves that blind is still insitu. Rang customer service hung on for 2x 5 mins no answer then requested a callback twice l still waiting 24hrs later for a reply. Very, very poor intallation of blinds and customer after servuce from this store.
Good share is accessible services and shops, from phone repairs to grocery shopping. Good prices and targeted at the suburban family
Spotlight, woolworths, Aldi, Harris Scarf, meat shop, Asian grocery, fast food and some other shops are located here. Very close to Carnegie station.
This is my main place for our weekly grocery runs. They have the two best shops that my family goes to. Aldi and Woolies. What more can we ask for a well maintained and ample parking centre plus the fact that they do have an Asian grocer that we can regularly get some Filipino items from just puts this place on top.
This "Woolworths" has everything! Unlike some of the smaller boutique type of stores, that often don't stock everything or might only stock something 4 a short period this "Woolworths" has absolutely everything that's on offer & then some. If Ur wanting help just B aware that this is a very busy & extremely large store & often most staff R already running around 4 another customer or busy stocking shelves. All very friendly & alway's all busy with what they do, but also very friendly & pleasant 2 deal with. I've had a few dealings with one of their female managers (A lovely lady from New Zealand) at the front desk who has gone above & beyond with help (Who clearly runs a tight ship) & has great staff under her leadership so overall I highly recommend this Woolworths. Also great split level parking underneath out back with escalator's 2 get 2 & from. So no need 2 worry about parking.
Plenty of free parking, but can be a little hectic when the car park is busy. Have witnessed plenty of newcomers not realising there is a one way system. Good one stop shopping location.
Aldi woolies the lotto optometrist spotlight coffee shops sushi shops Asian grocery and Daniels donuts. What more can you ask for.
Compared to the Caulfield it has a lot more shops and also have doughnut shop, Woolworths, aldi and few other stores. They maintain rhe cleanliness. The location is also really good. Few other stores are also available near to this one. Have underground parking available.
Use this place alot. Aldi for everyday stuff. Woolworth's with the brand names you love. Parking in the lower level is alot easier. Chemist and medical centre here are all good.
Lifts between levels to carpark.
Carnegie Central Shopping Centre is a smallish shopping centre with an eclectic mix of tenants. Spotlight, Priceline, Aldi, Woolworths, BWS, a kids Play centre, a few Cafés and some others over a few levels. Underground carparking was a bit jam packed with confusing and difficult to see "One Way" signs and frequent logjams with cars going the wrong way in the very busy area on a weekday afternoon.
Busy as your Nan at a craft market, but this place works well. Expert tip: drive straight down to the lower basement and avoid the rat race involved with trying to park on the first level. It ain't worth it - your time and sanity are valuable.
Grab a shop at Woolies and treat the kids with some Daniels Donuts. They have MULTIPLE vegan varieties, if you're that way inclined.
Last I checked, don't bother trying to get a coffee here. Just wait till you're out and a near a place that does good coffee.
Aldi, Spotlight, Woolies and small cafés, butcher and of course Daniel's doughnuts all found here. Parking can be a bit slow but continue to lower parking and there are plenty of spaces. Wheelchair accessible.
Great little shopping complex, especially if you want to avoid Chadstone.
It has an Aldi, Woolies and good parking.
I mainly go there if I am doing an ALDI shop.
Carnegie central is ok. Pretty functional. I think if they got a couple of decent quality restaurants in there it would improve the whole centre. There used to be an ok burger place here but since that's gone you're only left with food court. The smokers outside every door also ruin this place.
Nice little mini Chaddy. But should have toilets down stairs. Toilets are small and a bit gross for such a large shopping centre.
This place needs a facelift. Huge land woukd and could have Potential to do it up. Nothing overly huge but just a freshen up with some added shops. Only spotlight and woolworth is good option.
It's a small shopping centre. It's great but it isn't luxury or fancy or anything. Very good go there a lot.not all good things deserve 5 stars
