This is one of my favorite little stores on Lygon Street, and I miss going there. Nice selection of high quality colored cardboard/papers and inks.
The owner is lovely. He once drove all the way to his supplier in the evening to get me something that was out of stock in time for my deadline the next morning.

Carlton Newsagency is one of those local small businesses that every community and neighbourhood wants and needs, and Manu is simply wonderful. When we went into lockdown, almost everything closed.and Manu and Carlton Newsagency came to the rescue, offering tons of goods and services-including a few (like photocopying, printing, scanning, etc) that are critical and can't be found elsewhere in the 5 km radius we are (still!) restricted to. Five stars (wish I could give six).

Good range of product stocked and bargain price too. Bought mailing labels for a fraction of the price than other places. Friendly and very helpful service too.

I found the printing services too expensive. I was really trying to support local businesses as best I can during the pandemic but $3 for two A4 B&W pages to be printed in comparison to Officeworks is too big a difference to consider visiting again. Sorry: (

I thought I had an issue with collecting concert tickets, and he was only too happy to be as helpful as possible.

Helpful, Friendly and FAST - got my GA tickets no probs! Forget worrying about logging in to the Ticketek website and missing out on the good tickets before they sell out.

Went and picked up my concert tickets quite easily. Owner was cooler than a polar bear riding a motorbike whilst necking a frothy.

I went to buy tickets to a concert and the owner was fantastic and went out of his way to help me get tickets in the section I wanted! Fantastic customer service!

Was pleasantly surprised by the array of art supplies on offer for a very reasonable price. Incredibly friendly and helpful service to boot

Carlton is very lucky to have Manu and his wife as our local Newsagents. Not only are they always friendly and welcoming but they go above and beyond to help. Manu helps you to navigate the not so user friendly postal system and makes receiving parcels a breeze. Thank you!

Carlton Newsagency couldn't have been more helpful with regards to the delivery of a new laptop to my son. I live in the UK and my son is in Melbourne so sorting out all the photo ID's etc wasn't easy, but Carlton were brilliant (but also extremely thorough which was what I'd want) and I now have a very very happy son! Thank you Carlton!

Awesome staff Owner might be (Manu & Raj) kind Nd great customer service. Store always full of stationery variety pens, diaries & magazines Nd lot other stuff emergency printing too. Low prices always. Love to go. Should give more to store and people.

Generally don't review but can't resist my self about this Awesome Newsagency in Melbourne. Always full with variety of stationery, beautiful pens & year Diaries to gift or for collection. Yeah great skills of customer service Manu & Kiran. Must visit store.
