Capricho Grilled Chicken - Sunshine West

My favourite chicken shop in the West. Consistent everytime, chicken is always fresh, hot, juicy and tender (not dried like nandos). Definitely superior and on a league of its own. Highly recommended if you're a chicken & chips fan.

Menu has changed from pretend Portuguese to pretend Latin American. I think I preferred the former. Still OK, but stick to the charcoal chicken rather than the difficult to handle burger options.

Totally unexpectedly awesome chicken shop: the truck stop setting doesn’t create high expectations but the food is terrific, a real home made authenticity to it. Five stars!

The burgers and burritos are delicious and we only waited a few minutes for our meals. Staff were very nice and place was very clean. I'll definitely be back.

I've genuinely tried to love it, but this is NOT better than Nando's

Pros:
Same great staff and owner as previous establishment.
Chicken & Chips more or less identical to Nando's

Cons:
No rewards or points system to reward loyal customers.
Sauces are bland and lack complexity.
Ingredients are fresh but not well seasoned or put together, this is basically McDonald's level quality (this applies to Capricho general, not this specific store)

Definitely tasty food. Quick service with a a smiling face. Sometimes the tenderloins can be a little dry, but the basting sauces are nice. Usually get Habaneeo bbq which is on the spicy side. The super bowls are nice. A little on the pricey side when ordering online but OK when dining in.
