Extra ordinary service by Karen.

She’s happy, welcoming and offers great service. That’s what you want when you’re in pain and visiting a radiologist.

Service at this place was pretty quick.

Doctor and other reception staff were welcoming and helpful.

They’re tight next to Library and there’s plenty of parking place around there.

Probably the friendliest & nicest radiology I’ve been to & service is way more better than the other Capital franchises.
Barbara especially was super helpful & nice, I’ve never experienced such lovely kindness from a health professional apart from my GP.

After seeing my doctor they called through to book me in. When I got there they had only booked me for the Thyroid and not the abdomen scan which was also on the referral and the actual main reason I needed to be there. The abdomen was the painful thing, Dr.had just booked my thyroid as a precautionary thing. There was no other appointments left for over a week and terrible timing as due to go away over Christmas. Very annoying, waste of time, and still no closer to finding out cause of abdo pain. Also reception staff did not apologise at all when I explained it.

Receptionist ladies helpful and kind mannered.
Staff very informative had a Doppler ultrasound done. Will be attending this clinic again for other radiology in future.

Went for a blood test with my wife on the 18th of March. Very unprofessional! With energy drink in plane sight on the ambulatory table, the girl, after several tries to perform the test on both my wife's arms (with no success), suggested us to go and try in some other Medical Centre.
So we did and in 3 seconds the test was done.
Shame on you!

Came in for an Xray and Ultrasound and found the staff and sonographer to be friendly and welcoming.

Both the Xray and Ultrasound scans were on time and performed efficiently.

Receptionist is very welcoming, and everything just went smoothly and efficiently.
The practician gives a clear instruction and clear action plan for me to do.

Reception staff were very nice and helpful. The sonographer was quite rude to my wife and I when she was called in and again when she was in the room. Will go elsewhere in future.

The ladies at the front reception were very friendly and pleasant with me. They welcomed me with such ease and my radiology ultrasound went very well and I felt comfortable giving the information that they needed.

Absolutely ridiculous, I called in to book an appointment and Karen picked up the call, she was so rude and unprofessional. When I asked for appointment she straightaway said no, when I asked for another date she said no.

After few minutes, she said just for you I'm moving appointments. Time to change your receptionist/phone operators, and teach them communication and interpersonal skills, teach them how to talk over the phone.

Don't bring your home stress to work and ruin someone else's day.

Referral form clearly states call for an appointment. Called up at 12: 45pm on 9.01.20 and the person who picked up named Lin, is trying to push me off the phone stating you just rock up to the appointment. Asked her to ask management to change the form to save trouble for future patients. She is unwilling and after trying to explain the situation, she hangs up the phone. Very poor service.

Not happy with punctuality of the service. I had made an appointment for an x-ray the week prior, which according to Capital Radiology's website, is a quick and simple scan. Despite this, I had to wait over 40 minutes on the day to get the scan. Would have been nice to have been told about the long waiting times on the day, so I could re-organise my day.

I had turned up at 9am without an appointment and spoke to the younger receptionist whom explained that they were booked until later in the afternoon, however given I was there and I had a full bladder she would squeeze me in because someone was running late to their appointment.

I was asked to sit down and it should not be too long until I would be called. (appreciative to be seen without an appointment)

40 minutes later with a full bladder I was quite uncomfortable, I approached the desk to speak to the receptionist, she was on the phone and another receptionist spoke to me in an abrupt manner.

She was not discreet and explained that I did not have an appointment and that they would be squeezing me in.

I calmly explained that I was very uncomfortable and that I was under the impression that I was next to be seen, as the other receptionist told me that if the other patient did not make his appointment, I would then be slotted in, take a seat it will not be long.

I also added that it had not been communicated with me. She showed me no sympathy and said that I could use the toilet to relieve myself.

I then returned to my seat. I was quite embarrassed by the way this woman spoke to me and I found that she was not very friendly to begin with therefore, I returned to the reception to speak with the original receptionist and asked how long it would be, she then responds with " Oh, yeah we will be squeezing you in and I don't know how long it will be but I can check if another location can see you". I told her that I was not happy with that.

I also said that it would have been nice had she communicated that with me 40 minutes prior, rather than tell me to take a seat and wait. She was clearly instructed by the other receptionist to tell me they no longer had any appointments.

There was no apology for not communicating with me or solution for the fact that I was sitting there waiting to be seen because of how I was instructed.

My issue was not that I had to wait, it was the manner I was spoken to and the lack of communication.

The only reason I felt it was necessary to write a negative review is because in an industry where you need to show great compassion and empathy and make people feel at ease these two staff members did not demonstrate it at all.

I am not writing a review on the practitioners as that would be unfair because I did not get to see anyone.

I was seen by a clinic that does not bulk bill and was treated the way I should be treated, with respect.

I would give this place 0 stars if the option was available. Reception staff spoke abruptly and were not helpful. So unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If they spoke to us young people like this, I can only imagine how they would treat the elderly. Would never wish that on my parents nor anyone's.
