Been coming here for X-rays and ultrasounds for years and have always had positive experience. I didn't get the ladies name at reception but today she went above and beyond to get my 4 month old sorted at another location but his hip scan. She's always an absolute legend and today just proved it. Thank you!

Efficient reception staff. Efficient technicians. Always busy. A bit more communication would earn another star

Stroppy receptionist and stressed practice manager, who came rushing out (after we had been in there for at least 15 minutes already) stating "only patients allowed in". Which resulted in myself and our 2 yo being ushered outside.great!

When did all Medical associated centers become so robotic? So Cold? So Business Liked? All Centers run behind schedule and we are forced to wait sometimes hours but if your 9 minutes late you are rejected even if your in severe pain and could have a possible infection, Thanks to these doctors and receptionist my partner and I were knocked back even after explaining our situation which they couldn't care less about. Got too make that Tee Time I guess. Couldn't even get through via phone as no one would answer for 40mins leading up to the appointment. Extremely Rude, Hostile and forgotten that they are to help others not just treat us a like a product or factory line. DO NOT USE.

Ive never came across to such an irrespectful and rude customer service. All thanks to the lady at the receptionist. Real bad experience, my first and hopefully last appointment!

Great Customer service! Got x-rays on my right hand and took less than 5 minutes! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely appalling experience! I made it clear that I had a medical exemption for not wearing a mask to the receptionist who was NOT wearing a mask and was told to wait outside in the freezing cold. This is inhumane and is blatant discrimination. Staff were all rushed and unfriendly. As a doctor I asked to have a quick look at my own images, and was told there were many people waiting. This literally took a maximum of two seconds. When I remembered I needed the actual images, the receptionist aggressively asked if I had let the radiographer know and rolled her eyes at me. This is obviously a situation of an unhealthy workplace and I truly hope no other patient experiences the sort of mistreatment that I did. Patients are scared and worried about their health when they walk in here, please treat them with a little respect and basic human decency.

Rude staff. I had a very bad news in my life and had to book in for an appointment. The lady was so rude, I didn't need this kind of behaviour in such a situation. Some people should work in the medical industry.

The sonographer Hanni is absolutely lovely and efficient. She explained everything despite the fact that I was squeezed in as an urgent patient upon the request of my GP.

One of the receptionists (Sam?) could have been a bit more understanding when I drove straight from the GP’s office to capital radiology post my GP confirming that it was OK for me to come and yet she told me that I was late (? !? !) on the way out, I spoke to a really nice Asian receptionist who processed my payment & refund without any issues and was glad for me that all went well.

Arrived at 11: 00.

There was 10 people in the room. After waiting half n hour I was advised I was next in line. People who arrived after me continued to be seen. Upon asking the reason they failed to provide one.

Very average service. Won’t be coming here again.

The Balaclava branch is not clinically set up properly like the other Capital Radiology places. The worst part is the tiny examination rooms with no privacy curtains. Anyone can walk into the room during the examination when you have no clothes on! After this happened to me, the manager promised to install the privacy curtains within a week. Nothing has happened when I am back to it 6 months later.

Have been here a few times but on my most recent visit I was particularly uncomfortable about my visit. The specialist that saw me was Hanny (I hope that is how you spell it?). Hanny provided a fantastic and thorough ultrasound. She was courteous, informative, sensitive and professional. I know you can't choose who scans you but today was definitely a better experience. Thank you so much for what you do and keep up the good work. I also thought I would mention the staff at the front counter were impressive and thorough with their assessment of patients for Covid related matters. These days it is important to maintain the health and safety of all. Well done!

Took a day off work, as that was the only day, the guy injecting the cortisone injection was available.
Had a cortisone injection done 3-4 years back at this place, for the exact same severe knee fluid pain, which helped it and solved the issue. Knee inflamed again with fluid, so went to get a cortisone injection, and explained to the doctor's young female assistant who saw me and scanned my knee, that the last time I got a cortisone injection it solved my knee fluid issue.

The doctor saw my results, confirmed that it was fluid in the knee - but simply got his assistant to tell me, ''Oh nah, the doctor said you don't need it. '' I replied that, I got it last time for the exact same issue, and it solved the issue, and if I could politely speak to the doctor.
She said, ''nah nah, the doctor said you don't need it, you can go now'', brushing me off completely. So I asked, what I can do about it than if they won't give me the injection. She simply shrugged and said, ''well that's not for us to say, speak to you're GP.you're free to leave'', and she just left the room.lol well thx for just sending me on my way, & wasting my day than, little Ms bimbo and to the ''doctor''?
Btw, about a couple of months later, and my knee is still in pain, as the physio sessions hasn't helped, and says they have no idea why I'm getting fluid in the knee.

Won't be a next time I'll come here.

Super rude woman (Elena or Helena) at the reception yesterday,
I walked and stood quietly in the waiting line and her response was,

Yes!?
I told her I had a referral but it was on my phone,
she said "YOU NEED TO EMAIL IT TO US MATE! " and banged a card on the table.

I understand healthcare services are under the pump, and I am happy to wait, but seriously. Is politeness not something we do anymore? If I am super busy at work I just excuse the person waiting and say ill with you shortly.

The wait time however was quite short and the person who did the scan was really nice and polite.

The receptionist Helena was just lovely. I needed a scan with a full bladder and she could see how uncomfortable I was whilst waiting to be called in. She kept talking to me to keep my mind off it, and after a few minutes she went to see what the holdup was - then I went in straight after. The scan itself is never pleasant but the radiologist Brooke was amazing and gentle. Very positive experience under the circumstances.

One of the rudest and worst places I've been to. The male radiologist was so disrespectful. Avoid!

One of the receptionists here is really unprofessional.called in to get a pelvic ultrasound done and her tone and attitude was rude and quite patronizing when trying to make an appointment.i mentioned it was relating to an issue that i'll be seeing another specialist about and she commented on my health by saying 'oh well if your seeing that kind of specialist, you've left this scan too late! '

i am appalled by this response.not only did it initially trigger some anxiety about my health being told my scans are 'too late' but this is quite the show of very poor emotional intelligence.this medical receptionist has no medical training or experience other than administration - no background knowledge of my health history and yet had the audacity to make a comment about the timing of what procedures i get done and how?

the call was made on Friday morning 26th June 2020.
If this practice values any patient care at all, i'd recommend checking in on who was working that day because this receptionist should not be in the medical field.

One of the sonographers was extremely negligent when I went for a dating scan, took one look and told me it was too small and to come back the following week. When I did the next sonographer told me exactly how far I was and that I shouldn't have come back for at least another fortnight. Had I been told this the first time I would have realised this didn't correlate with the blood test and that the embryon wasn't growing, so I could have been prepared for the miscarriage that I have since had. In stead I spent a week thinking of baby names. This is a very vulnerable time for people and shouldn't treated flippantly.

The doctor are good.

But I m quite unhappy with this receptionist Helena, when I came to book me in she asked me three times if I was from overseas and paying full because of my accent, I answered 3 times I had Medicare.

Then she booked me for a ct scan at 9.30 am and change it 2 days after for 10.20 am, I was running 10 min late for my 10.20 am appointment, she told me 5 min late is ok but not 10 min. You ll need to rebook. I was quite unhappy, what is it the doctor have 15 min to do the ct scan and next. Helena was then very rude on the phone. I don’t think she have to work there.

Anyway. Thanks to the doctor!

Not really sure what people are complaining about.unless they completely changed all the staff since the bad reviews were left? !
I dealt with two receptionists and they were friendly, professional and smiling. They happily processed the Medicare claim on my behalf.
Appointment was just 5 minutes behind - that’s basically on time.
The lady who did my ultrasound was quick and efficient, and answered all my questions.
Don’t know what else people are looking for from a bulk bill service!
