Had the most exquisite 5 course dinner at Cape with wine pairing. Top tier fine dining and perfect for any special occasion or to simply treat yourself to 5 star locally sourced food and wine. Aaron our host and all the staff were incredibly attentive and head chef Rick is a visionary! I look forward to dining here again soon.

Like everyone else here I was overwhelmed with the quality, presentation, taste and service. But also sommelier Aaron is extremely adept at providing interesting and tasty wines with your chosen menu. Go for the no limits package and you will discover hidden green and icon producers like our sparkling off dry rose from Bugey in eastern France. Cheers!

A magnificent dining experience. The food was splendid, with each dish in our 8 course degustation hitting the mark. The small details with each dish were exquisite. And the service was amongst the best we have encountered, with Aaron & Sarah’s passion and warmth turning a wonderful dinner into a memorable experience.

Exquisite evening at Cape. This is most definitely the Jewel in the Crown for the RACV Resorts, if not the Mornington Peninsula.

A world class experience. My partner Chelsea and I had dinner here last night and it was absolutely amazing. Hands down one of the best restaurants and amazing experiences we have had. We have dined at many restaurants around the world however The Cape restaurant is a really a stand out (and so close to home). Staff were attentive, charming and very professional. Every dish served was delicious and impressive to the eye. Amazing selection of local wines. Thank you to Aaron and the team for such a wonderful night.

We booked the Digestion menu as a treat on Easter Saturday.
My first impressions were very good when Head Chef Jordan Clavaron acknowledge us with a friendly smile when we walked past the open kitchen heading to our table.
Everyone from the team went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing evening and food that was absolutely beautiful to look at and then eat.
10 Courses in total with some surprises and very good value at $160pp.
You could see the care and the pride in every course and at the end of our meal Jordan came over at the end of the meal to say hello.

This place is simply amazing. It is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in Australia, and we’ve been to a few! The chef and his staff are passionate and everything comes direct from the heart. So much culture, history and thought behind each dish. The flavours, textures, even the crockery are sensory and amazing. The wine pairing is incredible. It’s only been open for 12 weeks. A young chef full of promise, I am so delighted to see this place close to Melbourne and hope it’s stays around, a pure slice of heaven. Thank you!

Strongly recommend trying Cape, the food was fantastic and the service phenomenal. They offered a fantastic wine selection, giving insight on the local wineries and areas to check out.

My husband and I had been here previously in August 2019 and were very impressed, so we decided to come again. Not so impressed this time.

We had put our dietaries on the booking, however when we arrived we had to ask
for appropriate menus and remind the waitstaff multiple times. During our previous experience this was handled. The entree was okay, although roasted vegetables in a bowl is not what i would call fine dining and the bowl for the chicken and corn dish was difficult to eat out of. Mains, specifically mine - asparagus with veloute was so tiny (I have had eight course degustations bigger!) My ordered wine also never came out. Desserts were good and bigger than the mains.

No bread or petitfours offered like last time either. For the price and a chef hated resturant I would expect close to flawless service and portions to be well though out. Will not be back.
