Cannings Free Range Butchers Malvern

I love these butchers! So friendly, amazing philosophy with the free-range stuff, and the produce is so tasty I can't go anywhere else anymore!

I have had the opportunity to be served by Andrew (manager of Cannings meat in Malvern), since it was first opened.

Andrew has exceptional manager skills with fantastic customer service, courteous, answer all the meat questions, and goes out of his way to give you great service with that glorious happy smile. A great butcher.
It is such a pleasure to enter the store first thing in morning and see his face.

We were regular customers of Tooronga and moved further east, they home deliver free of charge and the meat is still exceptional, just did 2 eye fillets, beyond belief, client for life.

As a regular customer at Cannings Malvern, the customer service there this afternoon was nothing short of disgraceful!
In particular, one of the staff members was rude, unhelpful and unwilling to correct or compensate for his earlier poor service that required me to return an item I found to be damaged, when I got home.
For what’s supposed to be a high quality butcher, charging inflated prices, I would expect better!
For the sake of the business, I would suggest further staff training in customer service should be a top priority!
I won’t shop at this store again and I will suggest to local friends and family they avoid too!

We have been shopping at Cannings for quite some time now nothing but quality from the great range to the service, Andrew always points us in the right direction me and my partner wouldn’t shop anywhere else and always recommend them

What a fantastic butcher shop this place is! Andrew is the man you want to see for everything meat! So much knowledge and the cape grim beef ribs he sold me were up there with the best I have ever had! Keep up the good work cannings!

The Cannings staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. It is a fantastic place to shop, with great products. The staff seem to really enjoy working with each other too.

Great, if not the only, place to get gluten free chicken schnitzel. The way that Cannings operates with no cash, only EFTPOS, minimises the risk of interaction between customers and staff.

Great delivery service - especially during COVID. Product quality is great and staff are very friendly.

I have changed the review, as I mistakenly reviewed the wrong shop, as there is like six other butchers in the same area. This place, had nice French touluse suasages, they were nice, I wish they had them more often though.

Good butcher overall but prawns are not De-Pooed even when marinated very disgusting and I hope to see this rectified

Best meat in Melbourne! Cheap for what it is. Meat is so delicious, Animals are treated like Kings from birth to death which gives the most natural, unique and wonderful taste.

Excellent price and service. I ordered some chicken frame online and pick up here. Price is really good, $25 for 20kg. My dogs will love them.

We did have an issue with a product. We raised it with one of the staff, and although there were communication issues, we received contact from Andrew, the Malvern store manager and the issue was addressed and we were very impressed with the response. A great local business with some great products.

You pay for what you get and what you get here is amazing quality meats! After hiding the receipt from my partner I can't fault anything here! The steak is superb, the crumbed cutlets amazing and the veal melts in your mouth! A must visit if you want to taste quality.
