My new favourite butcher! I moved to the area just over a year ago and have been going to Cannings in Ivanhoe since. The meat is very high quality and tasty! The staff are absolutely wonderful and friendly; it feels like family when you walk in! The store is also clean, tidy and well presented.

Quality is amazing but the first time I come across a butcher that is unable to cut meat with a bone twice at midday, should customers hack at it at home themselves?
Would happily change the review when I visit again and I see the service provided.

Amazing sausages & meats, always fresh & good. Although I'm not keen on cashless shops, & it means I don't shop here as often unfortunately.

I love shopping at Cannings in Ivanhoe as I can feel confident that the meat is of the highest quality, particularly where animal welfare is concerned. The staff are always friendly and helpful and always welcome feedback on the products. I also use the online delivery service and that has always been of the highest standard.

I have shopped here on a few occasions and have no doubt that the produce sold is amazing hence my return to the store though though the lack of professionalism in the customer service I received on my last visit was embarrassing to say the least. The female staff member who served me was extremely rude and disregarded my requests on multiple occasions of me trying to explain what I wanted to purchase. Instead she continued to repeat what was available when I asked if there was a different option. Whilst packing my order the staff discussed my requests whilst I was standing there laughing and continued to do so on my exit from the store. I’m not sure in what world it is acceptable for staff to treat customers this way and make them feel uncomfortable when supporting their business but hey the meat was great

Great customer service and friendly staff. Meat is one of the best quality I’ve tasted. I have to rave on about their sausages as they’re of top quality and doesn’t lose shape when cooked. There’s only 2 places where I get my sausages and Cannings is one of them.

Fantastic shop, i always like to feed my family the best quality of meats. The pricing is fair for most people (even though personally a little pricey for me) however, i completely forget about my budget at Cannings as the meat is totally worth it and beats supermarket meat any day!
