Cann River Rainforest Caravan Park

Cann River is STUNNING worth a few days stop over I didn't do it but I intend to truly lovely

Nice free campground to stay 1 or 2 days (limit is 48 hours). No reservations needed and free of charge. Decent toilets and shower. Walking distance to local shops and cafe.

Great little free camping caravan park lots of spaces and plenty of room. Right over the river from cann river town ship. Awesome little loop walk in the rain forrest. There is a nice toilet block but cold showers. All they ask is to go and spend some money in the town easy done

What an amazing place this is. Firstly, for now it is free. Secondly, it is so tidy and clean. The free amenities are very well maintained and there are powered sites and water taps. Sadly some people think they can hook up to these and thereby restrict others access. The walks from the campgrounds are teeming with birdlife and it is a two minute walk to the village of Cann River. Overall an excellent place to stay for 48 hours if you are touring the area.

The caravan park is free til further notice making it a refreshing place to break up the journey north or south. Cold showers only atm toilets and a dump point. Meet other friendly travellers here.

This is an abandoned caravan park, it has water & toilets & it is free. Good stop over and close to the shops.

Lovely spot, 48 hour stay, very scenic, rainforest walk, easy walk into town. Make sure you call into the Cann River Hotel, very friendly service!

As a free caravan park it is everything one can expect. The facilities are well maintained and clean and the sites large enough to allow drive through.

Currently a free camp run by the council. Can stay up to 48 hrs. Clean toilets, cold showers only in use. No power, but can connect to water. Close to town and good walks along the river.

Great for a stop over, they have it as free camping meaning NO POWER and NO HOT WATER. We survived with a cold shower and plenty of solar. A shame as it states maximum 48 hour stop over but somebody is set up permanently in the small shelter there, they even now the grass AROUND HIS CAR.

Wow what a great little park! It was originaly a Caravan Park but is now set up for free camping which has drinking water, cold showers, a well maintained toilet block with soap and flushing toilets. Max stay is 48hrs. Its next to the road but nearly all traffic ceases at night. Thank you for my stay Cann River i made sure i spent money in your town to show my appreciation. Ps realy loved that lolly shop lol. Cheers.

This is an absolutely beautiful campsite with great amenities, and free! A short stroll from town too. We had dinner at the pub and went for a swim in the river in the morning. I highly recommend an overnight stay here.

One of the best free camps we have stayed at. This place is an absolute credit to the people of Cann River.

This is the most beautiful little spot by the river. Very clean and also green! Well maintained lawns, bins and toilets. Powered sites and even showers. Ohh did I mention it’s FREE. Definitely worth the stop in. Just remember to support the town with a nice breakfast or purchase on your way out.

Beautiful camping ground, with plenty of space in the middle of winter. Clean and well maintained facilities.

Wonderful location. Next to the Cann River. Trees for shade and green grass. Lovely river walk. Five minute walk to town to stock up supplies. Two bakeries and 3 coffee shops. Atm free camp with water and toilets. Would like to see it remain this way. If power and hot water are connected. Sites will be charged. I'm very happy for it to remain as is.

Great spot for short stopover. Clean toilets, water at sites - no power and no fees. Short walk to bakery for coffee and to pub for a beer.
