Stopped in for dinner on a long road trip.
Friendly and approachable staff.
Quick service.
Serving time was great and the food was satisfying.
Well done! We will happily stop in again.

Came to support the pub while staying in the caravan park for free. Had 2 parmis which were hot and yummy.

Great meals, and wonderful service. Not too many patrons tonight, sadly, but that was our bonus - we had a great chat with our hosts, and were given great information about the history of the pub.

The hotel was within walking distance to the campsite. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very comfortable

Went for drinks and dinner! Disappointed is an understatement. Ordered 2 x beers, 1 bottle of wine and 4 x Cowboy shots. $87 and had to stand at the bar and ask for change of a $100 bill after the ladie continued to serve other patrons, a little giggle from the lady behind the bar and then she handed over the change. Dinner, 2 x serves of spring rolls, 1 x schnitzel with chips and gravy and salt & pepper calamari with chips $58.calamari was not fresh, processed chicken schnitzel very average and spring rolls overcooked. We will definitely NOT be back. And to watch the lady from behind the bar quieten her dog's with a bit of a boot was not very pleasant to see. Also watching the "owner" laugh at a customer's complaint about the food that was served to her was disgusting. I am not bothered about the cost, however if the product and service was worth it there would be a great review here. I am a small business owner and understand what reviews can do. You may class me as a keyboard warrior but there are people who do not like confrontation, which from seeing what we saw in the pub we feel that confrontation would have been on the cards.

We were just passing through, on our way to Melbourne and had to make a pit stop as it was dark. The town was closed pretty much!
We found the pub and decided to go for a drink after booking into a drive in motel opposite

We asked for a couple of pints (being British) as you do. Got served with a very warm welcome and a friendly chat, and some very good ale
We had missed the food cut off unfortunately

After sitting down and relaxing the landlady came over and offered to cook us weary travellers some chicken satay and rice, which we gladly accepted

Great relaxed atmosphere and good small menu with friendly service. Porterhouse was tough, bur partner loved his parmi.

Great country pub with excellent beer and food. Owners were very welcoming. If you're stopping in Cann River this is the place to go too.

Wonderful staff and the Chicken Stir Fry was absolutely delicious. Also recommend the Snitzel and Bangers n Mash. Really tasty home cooked feel to the meals. Really accommodating for Gluten allergy. We will be back.

Stopped for dinner it was good food.not cheap.but edible.it's old has a wood fire.but it's ok.

Had an excellent evening while visiting family a couple of nights ago. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Warm, welcoming vibe from our hosts and the beer was wonderfully cold and clean. Get behind these guys if you are staying or passing through town.

Lovely old original country pub with amazing history.
100 year old stair case is from a ship wrecked off the coast back in the day.

Highly recommend the stir fry chicken, delicious, owners are wonderful people.

The pub is open again. Meals were very tasty with generous servings. Chicken snitzlel was the best I've had. Owners very nice. Worth a visit.

Great staff! New owners, a lovely couple. We arrived 10 pm and although the kitchen was closed they helped us and made a great Hawaiian pizza. The accommodation was still under renovation. I totally recommend to stop by!

Great Motel! Has everything you need! Giant area. Pool. Laundry. A couple of shops, food and stuff around it. Great!
