EDIT: replying to owners reply. I’m not sure who the owner is talking about but it was not my family. The hair dresser DID NOT interact with my nephew and he was never given a lollipop. Just a lie to make them look better. They only look worse… We did also arrive early for the appointment. Advice won’t be needed. Your employees are the ones needing advice on how to deal with toddlers

Took my nephew (2yrs old) here today after having 3 other great experiences. Today he wasn’t feeling getting into the car straight away. It took some convincing. We had to take him just outside the shop to try again. He was ready a few moments later, excited for his haircut and was trying to climb into the car. We got told we had to come back at 4: 15 (over an hour later). We then had to carry my nephew out who was very upset that he couldn’t get in the car or have his haircut. It only took 10 minutes to settle him and then we were told we couldn’t continue with the appointment. You’d expect better at a place designed for kids haircuts. Our hairdresser didn’t even try to engage with our nephew to make him comfortable. Really disappointing experience. We thought you would at least be able to accomodate a toddler who is a bit unsure without being told to do leave and come back over an hour later

Some staff just shouldn’t work with children or in an area where customer service is required. We had a very unfriendly, unpleasant staff, never greeted us, no smile, complained about my daughters hair being too long (hence why we booked a trim) complained because she had a lot of hair, I was reminded several times “you really should have booked more time” yeah I understood the first time you told me but my daughter was going in for a simple trim to begin with and I didn’t know to book extra time. Neither my daughter or I needed to be told 3 times we should book more time & experience the sour look in the hairdressers face which clearly stated “ I don’t want to do this” she made my daughter feel really bad and she became sad! Tv was never offered to my daughter, she was very rough with her hair, just continued to pull at it with the thinnest comb! You’d think she would know to use a different brush for a little girl with a lot of hair! I had also booked mermaid braids which she refused to do due to “head lice” which my daughter did not have at the time, nor does she have them now! I believe she didn’t want to do them because it would take long due to long hair! She clearly did not want to work on my daughter’s hair in the first place. Upon finishing the trim she just ignored us & walked off, no good bye or thank you, nothing at all! Hairdresser knew it was my daughters birthday as I told her on the day, this is something she was looking forward to for days! She looked forward to getting her hair done with mermaid braids for her birthday party & this unprofessional person ruined it for her, she left in tears! Very disappointed with the service, rude staff, no tact, no customer service, should not be working with children! We will definitely be going elsewhere moving forward!

Luka had his 1st bubs hair cut, the day before his 1st birthday and he had a wonderful experience. His hair was nice and tidy, they played his favourite show Teletubbies and he was smiling all the way through. Thanks for the great experience and we will be back.

Amanda was amazing with my sons first haircut! Very quick and efficient with alot of knowledge.
Also Candy hair is just perfect for kids, I love all the distraction in there to make the kids more comfortable. Thank you!

What a lovely lady she is. My son was 9 months old when he had his first hair cut from her and I still remember how my son was crying and out of control but she still managed the whole situation being calm, pateince and with smile on her face. Highly recommended for haircuts.

They managed a miracle and managed to get a pretty hair cut out of the disaster my little girls big brother created when he hacked her hair with scissors. Highly recommend.

Very rude staff and customer service, this lady I met afternoon had the worst behaviour ever, definitely costing the reputation of the salon. Will never go back again, and will never recommend to my fellow friends for their kids.

Kaisha was amazing, normally my boy doesn't sit still, she managed to do a killer 1st hair cut for him in 15 mins and he sat for it!

Today we took our two year old son for his first hair cut. Sarah was absolutely wonderful, she talked us through everything and made our son super comfortable. He sat in the pink car and got to watch Elmo. We were not sure how it would go being his first cut but it honestly couldn’t have gone any better. Thanks so much Sarah! Highly recommend.

My daughter had her first haircut and we had Casey. She was so nice and not judgemental when I told her I cut her hair the best I could and if she can fix it up. She was so nice and friendly and my daughter loved it and the cute hairstyle she did for her. Thank you so much, we will definitely stick to candy hair and Casey ️️

We love attending candy hair, the staff are always welcoming, friendly and caring. My very active child loves the iPad time and is the only place we seem to get a decent stress free hair cut. My oldest child is in a wheelchair and attending candy hair is much easier then washing hair at home, the staff are always inclusive to her needs and have positive interactions with her through out the service.
The braids stay in for at least a week and we always get compliments about how good they look.

Kaisha was very friendly and patient with my 18 month old for his first haircut. Samuel loved visiting!

Just got my daughters first hair cut here today, she’s 1 & a half so she moved tiny bit so the fringe wasn’t perfect but it’s still really cute, they were so good with her put a show on for her she was relaxed smiling, & at the end because it was her first hair cut gave us a cute certificate with her hair tape onto it & everything, I will keep this forever I loved it.

Amanda was fantastic getting Gabe’s hair cut despite his best efforts not to cooperate. He’s now trimmed and ready for Prep! Hopefully next time he will be ready and willing to have his hair cut in the main salon on the motorbike (we’ve been talking about it since!).

My girls love coming here and being treated as adults with respect. Does not matter how busy the salon is, staff always have smiles on their faces for the children.
