My personal experience in getting a Canadian visa was pretty smooth. Applied in mid-July, was asked to submit biometrics in a week and received letter to submit passport by mid-Sept. The only frustrating part was that they were unable to provide a proper timeline on when they would return my passport so I had to just send my passport without knowing when I will get it back (I got it stamped and back in a week). Apart from that, they were unresponsive to calls and emails. The best way to get in touch would be to stop by the office and discuss any concerns directly. But overall, very positive experience!

I can't understand any of the other reviews. They were some of the kindest and understanding people I've met.

The people there went beyond their line of duty to assist me in getting my passport back in time for flying. The lady in charge (I couldn't get her name) worked so hard on a Friday evening to ensure my passport is shipped before the weekend despite having closed everything from their end.

Trust them that they will do everything in their powers to assist you wherever they can. I am absolutely grateful for their efforts.

Absolutely highly recommend this place. Both times I went I was treated very nice and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I can’t thank them enough for all the support provided to me. I went in at the last minute, because I wasn’t aware of the time window to submit the passports (I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THAT) but despite they had a busy day, they were kind enough to accommodated me as well. Thank you heaps Christine!

Highly impossible to speak on phone. Waiting for hours and the call disconnected automatically. Worst experience ever.

It’s impossible to contact this place via telephone. You get a machine, follow the prompts to contact customer service, wait and then nobody picks up

Horrible greeting message. Extremely hard to hear what the recording is saying and you have to wait until the very end of a painfully long disclaimer before you are able to select from the options. Once you make a selection the line goes dead and no one answers.

Very busy centre whenever u ring first two minutes u listen to the recording then you think there is some hope after choosing the prompts you have no hope as it goes on voice mail when u go online that’s even worst

Incompetent, Inexpert and Rude
The Staff are extremely rude. They asked for the document which is not required by the embassy. They forced me to buy a new insurance with new dates and new bank statement up to the day of application submission which was totally unnecessary (Checked with the Germany Embassy). I missed my flight to provide these documents and the day after they called and said they forgot to ask for a cover letter! DO NOT GO TO THIS CENTRE!

Spamming me with emails about someone else's application. I informed that of their mistake twice and they did nothing about it, basically stating it's not their problem.

So ultimately, I have all the tracking information that someone else presumably didn't receive.

Edit to respond to your response: Just look at your emails for my name.

I was provided with no notification or tracking number when my passport was shipped back to me after processing. I eagerly waited for a week and contacted them. The passport had been sitting at the postage junction for over a week and i had no details about it whatsoever. Very risky. Do it at your own risk.

Phone service is non-existent.
Very unprofessional.
Was hung up on after waiting 20 minutes to be put through to a representative twice.

I wish I could give no stars. Very rude staff. No information on their website. Contact center never pickup your calls. Lady sitting in front of reception don’t know how to speak to visitors. CAC should look into this.

Inexperienced staff, i talked to a lady she doesn’t know anything where to submit passport in person and collect it after biometrics done. Please appoint staff who can pronounce English properly.

Do not try to ring Canadian Embassies in Australia, firstly you will be given a spiel by someone who has a foreign accent to fob you of to an internet site, they are so in distinct you cannot make out the site information. Then as an aged person wishing a question answered if dealing with a Spanish site asking for a lot of money for tourist visa is a sham or not, you get no advice. Last time we went it was $7 each this time $85. Each. $170 dollars. My mother was Canadian I am entitled to a Canadian Passport costs $200 I should have applied for that instead. Most disappointing, I experienced a bad system, no answers.

Very nice operator to book appointment and helpful. Book in advance biometric appointment long waiting.
