Campground Kitchen reviews
19 Second time at this restaurant and I found it just as great as the first. After being allowed to settle down we ordered first drinks and after a short while waiter came up and we gave or orders for both on tray and mains trying something different that we had on the first visit. Just like the first visit the food was first class and all three of us really enjoyed the experience. Finished off with cannoli and tiramisu which was great. They now have a coffee machine (haha) and we took advantage and we all had cappuccino's.
For sure we'll come again great night cheers for now.
Average experience. There are some gluten free options that require an extra $6 for gluten free replacement. A margarita pizza with a gluten free base was $30 and was underwhelming. Oily with a soggy base. The only gf thing they had was sold out. Very average food. Expensive menu. Atmosphere was ok. Nice looking place but everything else was a let down. Will not be returning.
Love this place! We booked a long table for a 1st birthday and it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the pizzas were great. The kids loved the lawn games outside by the fire. We'll definitely be back in summer to enjoy the gelato stand!
We ordered two pizzas, dine in.
Although concept was good prices were expensive for what you get. Entrance door is full height so evertime someone walks in, the cold gets let in.
The pizza bases obviously pre-made. As the sauce was dry and not properly heated thru before toppings were placed on top before serving.
All this Inspite of having a oven, which we could see.
Hopefully quality of food will improve, I'm sure it's just teething issues.
We came with our friends for the first time this week and loved it! Great food and drinks with a family friendly atmosphere. The wood fried pizza was amazing! I can’t wait to come back with my husband and baby to enjoy the mulled wine and cider, the arancini balls and dessert pizzas!? ️ Thank you for this wonderful family business in our local West!
Went for dinner Wednesday night with work friends. We were seated and staff came over to take our order and that was it no one came back to our table to see if we wanted any more drinks etc. I went up to the counter to order dessert the female staff member was on her phone texting and b the desert I ordered wasn’t coming in till next day. We no be back again as food and venue was closed really nice. But staff definitely need customer service training
Great vegan pizzas, so good! I'll remember to take a photo next time. So far my favourite is 'Vegan Diavola', a little salty last time but it was still
My partner and I come here once a month, we’ve been testing out all the different pizzas leading up to our wedding. Love the atmosphere, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always delicious!
First time visit. Thursday night so not that busy. Greeted with a smile, and seated table for two.
Offered water, the a drink list. Allowed us time to settle before food menus appeared. Had a three course meal with a few beers and cleaned all plates. Pizzas, traditional, were really nice (woodfired) and so were the entrees and sweets. Will be returning hopefully soon.
Only downer was there is no coffee on the menu, strange as it's an Italian style cuisine.
But really enjoyed the night.
We recently had my husband’s 50th celebration in the back cabin. It was a drizzly day, but nothing’ Dampened’ the celebrations with exceptional food (family members are still raving about the pizzas, arancini and the chippies) the exceptional service from the friendly staff, and the positive vibe the place gives - many rounds of ‘ring toss’ was had! We will be back … again… and again… and again!
First time here after reading great reviews
Food was lovely, friendly staff and great service a little chilly where we were seated but there were heaters going and an outside open fire.
Beer, pizza, arancini, Mac and cheese croquettes and a lovely baked rigatoni we were definitely satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed everything
We visited Campground Kitchen and were immediately welcomed into the very well appointed restaurant. The space had character and was really inviting.
We ordered our meals and they didn’t disappoint. The starters were flavoursome and our main two different wood fired pizza was amazing, using good quality fresh ingredients made eating the pizza all the better.
We followed with a beautiful tiramisu and lemon meringue tart and a couple of cheeky espresso martini’s.
The only thing missing was a nice coffee but we were assured that was coming.
Well done Sonia, Remi and team, we will be back!

Table of 7,3 kids, catered to gluten free and kids enjoyed the games outside and colouring pages inside. Very well looked after by the staff.
Great food and great service! The staff at Campground Kitchen are fabulous, and the pizzas we had were great. We also ordered a trio of arancini, which were delicious, and don't forget dessert! Overall, a fantastic evening and a welcome addition to the dining options in the area.
Delicious authentic pizzas, beers from the amazing pioneering craft brewery 3 Ravens and add a welcoming friendly serving team and you have a recipe for success (and repeat visitation, I'll be back for sure). Cheers, Campground Kitchen
Hidden gem! We went to Campground Kitchen for dinner, the staff were attentive and welcoming, the cocktails were amazing, the arancini and pizza were delicious and the Nutella s’mores pizza for dessert was so yummy!
This is the first time my family been here for dinner and we were so looking forward. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant.
We ordered a salad dish to go with our main but for some reason my salad never come and we almost finish our main, we asked them to double check and they apologised for completely forgotten my dish.
Secondly the chicken pizza taste very bitter because the base of the pizza 80% burnt. Not good enough.
I completing understand Saturday night is very busy, but the staff who served at the front (wearing a hat) not helpful at all, I asked her to get me some water and follow up my order but she never get back to me, so I end up have to ask someone else.
Very disappointed.
Had dinner here with family and friends, 4 adults and 8 kids.everyone had a great time and the staff were awesome.kids had fun outside with games and adults had a great time with drinks.something for everyone.
Great booking experience, wonderful staff, excellent food. Just loved eating there and the experience. We’re coming back
