4Shut off to public on school days. Not close to public car park either. Wish I’d known! Pregnant and carrying a toddler up the hill isn’t easy!
Unknown to is, the play Park is closed to the public Monday - Friday 8: 30 as it's a shared space with the school.
Playground is shared with a local primary school so is unavailable to kids that are visiting Bendigo and aren’t in the school during school hours.
A awesome place for the kids to play and have fun. The playground here is fantastic and of a large size. Surrounded by park lands, there are also plenty of other places the kids can run and play immediately close by too. Unfortunately the playground isn't always open, which is disappointing if you've traveled all the way down here, only to find it's off limits. Unfortunately, when students are leaving the nearby school they can congregate into large groups which aren't always the friendliest either.
