Cameo Conveyancing - great to deal with, competitive rates, responsive and professional. Rachel & staff extremely helpful; second property transaction done by them.

Cameo failed to return my phone calls and emails after I signed the contract for my land (direct breach of the professional conduct regulations for conveyancers in Victoria).

Cameo also failed to give me their fee structure (after I asked several times) which is a clear breach of the code of conduct for conveyancers (more info available on Victorian consumer affairs website).

Cameo did not review my contract or alert me to any land restrictions or important dates with my contract.

Cameo also didn’t explain the contract conditions to me.

I never managed to get straight through to them over the phone, and my emails and phone messages were rarely returned.

Thankfully, I changed to a new conveyancer early on in my land contract, and within the same business day my land contract had been reviewed, I had their fee structure and was spoken to in a polite and respectful way.

When I sent an email to Cameo advising them I no longer wanted to use their services, I received no acknowledgement email and no email asking what exactly I was unhappy with. So there doesn’t seem to be an interest in continuous improvement for client service.

Unprofessional and unreliable.
Became uncontactable for a couple of weeks via phone or email.
When she returned she lazily accepted an amendment to the contract suggested by the other party without consulting me first.
Thankfully I didn't have anything complex or difficult otherwise I don't know how it would have been handled (or not handled).
