Cambrai Backpackers Hostel

Easily the best hostel i’ve stayed at in Australia. Came to Cambrai to complete my 88 days and ended up staying 8 months to save money. Bec and Adam are so welcoming to everyone who stays and really make the place feel like home.

Cambrai hostel deserves much more than 5 stars, it really is the best working hostel out there! All credit goes to Bec and Adam for all the hard work they put into it to make it an exceptional place for backpackers looking to complete their farm days. Within a few days I was working and stayed for 9 whole months, using the hostel cars they so kindly provide. You can even find work clothes and boots so you don’t have to buy everything yourself! The hostel itself has a real homely feel which is great to come back to after an hard days work, and there’s always great entertainment in the garden on the weekends especially over the summer months! The rooms are spacious and clean and there’s even a couple of chilled living rooms, not forgetting the roaring fire which was a gods send over winter! Bec and Adam go above and beyond to welcome and help you with anything and everything so I cannot thank them enough.
