Camberwell Junction Early Learning Centre

This was a shocking place when my son was there (2016). I only sent him for 2 months until I found a better place. Rude manager. My son did not like it either.

My son and daughter both loved their time here. While this centre may not have the most up-to-date equipment, there's no doubting the commitment and passion of the teachers and staff.

They were willing to go the extra mile to accommodate any requests, especially with our son who has a speech delay. The teachers were able to integrate special exercises for him into their daily routine which resulted in a massive improvement in his vocabulary and articulation —
even after only a few weeks.

Every morning our children were greeted with big smiles and cuddles by everyone at the centre. There were many tears on my son's last day - I don't think you'd see that kind of emotional investment at many other early learning centres.

We can't recommend CJELC highly enough.

"I feel very sad that my daughter will no longer be able to attend this centre and enjoy the Ladybird room due to my work commitments as she clearly loves it there, as the caring Camberwell team have witnessed and acknowledged for the past 6 months. I thank them all for their efforts and excellent care they have provided for her and for the support and kindness they have offered me. She has continued to grow and blossom under their guidance and I know she will sadly miss it".

What can I say about this place. I have never disliked anything as much as i hated this centre and the managing director. Without going into too much detail all i can say is beware. There are plenty of better centres with quality educators and facilities. Director and manager were rude to a point of bullying. We wasted almost $2000 without my kids attending a full day. Educators were incapable i felt being too rough handling children. Worst experience ever t a point that i can get annoyed about it.

Our son Attended CJELC 2 - 3 days per week from aged 6 months until today - 5 years old. (He starts school tomorrow) We have always found the centre to have a very loving atmosphere, and everyone was very helpful in helping us to overcome our son's severe stutter (Which is now practically non existent) On a practical note, the centre has very easy and convenient parking for drop offs and pick ups - which can sometimes be a bit tricky in the Camberwell area! I highly recommend this centre, and will really miss everyone there, particularly Sophia, who is a really kind, supportive and helpful Manager, as well as carers Leanne, Sarah, Hannah and Justine who are fond favourites of our son.

I would like to say that my son Jordan attended Camberwell junction early learning centre and it was the best days of our lives. Jordan was so very Happy there and as parents it was a blessing leaving him there.
Jordan even learnt to walk there. The staff were and still are amazing and they were the only people I ever had in my house to babysit Jordan if I ever needed to use one. Linda is an amazing women she has had the centre for many years and I cant thank her enough for everything she did for us,
. I would recommend this centre to everyone needing child care.
It made me so very mad that I saw a bad review just do not tar the reputation of such a wonderful women and and the centre just because of a bad experience.

My children have been looked after by the wonderful educators at Camberwell Junction Early Learning Centre since 2013. My son and daughter are chalk and cheese in personality and the ways in which they predominantly learn. They have, as have I by extension, had a great experience. A special mention should go out to Sophia- the Centre manager. Soph is amazingly supportive to our family and we can't thank her enough. I'm glad there is now a permanent teacher in the Kinder stream who my kids love.

I am an educator at CJELC and have found the centre to be the most friendly and professional that I've been privileged to work in. The team is always beautiful to each child, whose safety and wellbeing are always our top priority! We also take pride in always providing an exciting educational program for all children. Management is always hands on to assist us and nothing is too much trouble when we ask for advice or resources. As an educator, I highly recommend this centre!

My two girls attended CJELC in 2016. All the staff were so kind and caring to both girls. The education provided was excellent and a perfect transition into their primary education. The Centre is clean and the grounds provide a wonderful play environment for the children. The director of the Centre, Linda, was highly professional, friendly, flexible and very responsive to any queries I had. The added bonus of being able to park underneath the Centre avoided the difficulty of drop-offs and pick-ups. I highly recommend the Centre to any parent.
