I am delighted about my experience from start to finish. When I purchased an Electrolux dryer on sale, Lillian offered the best advice. She showed us possible alternatives so we could feel completely comfortable with the purchase. I was very impressed with delivery as Zane had a phone call and confirmation text. They were very friendly and made sure I was happy with how everything fitted in my washing room.

Purchased a dishwasher. Then saw it 16 dollars cheaper. 16, who cares right. You'll see why I'm mentioning it in a moment. PLUS an extra 10% off. The difference came to 76.30, around 80 bucks. It's a substantial difference. I thought Designer Appliances, which is actually Betta trying to dupe you into buying with them by ordering with a "different company" online, would price match. As that's what they say. THEY price match. I saw the 80 dollar difference afterwards when I went to Stan Cash. Look no further. Honestly! So anyway, I thought not to worry, Betta will match it. I hadn't heard of Betta since Retrovision in 1997, anywho.they SAID they match! Took them at their word. Woman at the Camberwell store, the MANAGER of that store where the dishwasher was going to be delivered from, tried the 10% coupon code that I showed her, and she informed me that it didn't work, but that she could speak with head office about crediting me the 16 dollars back. Yeah, I know right? Fuming.because the darn code works. Turns out, she didn't place the tick on the captcha for the code to go through, she showed me the screenshot and she didn't even realized. Look, she's A. So, you know. What do you honestly expect. Like, let's be real here yeah. Just a fact of life. So I point out the captcha that she left out to say that she's human and not a bot, 10 minutes later she emails back and says that she can not do the 10% discount and asks me if I would like to cancel my order. I was charged twice that Friday, and took 4 days to get my refund back from those peanuts at Betta. They really messed up what was meant to be a very seamless transaction. They lost all of that money for the dishwasher, all because they didn't want to credit me 76.30, they literally begged me to go elsewhere. I am 150% positive that had I dealt with someone that was not an A, it all would have been absolutely fine and it would have been 100% matched. Advice to head office, don't have A's in charge. The one at the Camberwell store not only cost yous a sale, but I nor anybody that I speak to will ever purchase anything at all from Betta and Designer Appliances. I am still shaking my head.

Had the absolute PLEASURE of purchasing the cutest fridge ever from Sonia recently. Never have I had my needs met so efficiently and kindly. This was my first experience with Betta Living Campberwell and thanks to your amazing staff, it will definitely not be the last. If your other staff are as accommodating and pleasant as Sonia, I’ll be a customer for life!

I bought a NOIROT TPRO. Lillian Chen said this is a new product, but sent me a faulty second hand. I called the betta store several times and I asked about my faulty product, the person who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful.
Overall, The lack of communication, extremely frustrating and disappointing. I went several times because Lillan Chen wanted me to come over directly rather than a delivery service. No delivery service at all, no email replies.

I recently placed an order for a dryer at Betta Electrical, but I am yet to receive any confirmation email or the product itself. I tried calling the company several times, but each time I was put through to what sounded like somebody's home number. When I asked about my order, the person who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful, telling me to call back later.

Overall, my experience with Betta Electrical has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication and unprofessional customer service has left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a customer. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would give it a one-star rating based on my experience.

I have to say that visiting Camberwell Electrics is a very welcoming experience. It's like visiting good friends. From the moment you enter the store you are greeted by Maria, the face of Camberwell Electrics, even if she is busy with another customer. The other staff are excellent too, somehow managing to strike the balance between not being too intrusive and being available to offer assistance when it is needed. This is a fine art and is nowhere near as easy as they make it look. The staff are really helpful when asked and can offer expert and practical advice. To my mind it is wort travelling out of my way to visit and shop at such a friendly place where you just know you are going to get good service. Prices aren't too shabby either!

I asked my wife to call into Camberwell Electrics to checkout prices for a big split system air conditioning unit.
I’d checked out prices from other stores and after hearing an ad on 3AW, decided to make enquires.
Well I was astounded by the much lower costs of the unit and the installation.
Not long after, I went ahead with them and as I live in Richmond, it didn’t take long for it all and their installer, Veck, did a commendable job.
He even fixed another unit that I’d bought elsewhere for free!
It was just making a strange noise the was irritating me - took him 5 minutes.
I’ve purchased many things in my nearly 70 years and I cannot EVER recall service like I received from Camberwell Electrics.
I’d give them 110 out of a hundred, however, the scale of the rating thingy doesn’t go that high.

Great customer service!
Needed washing machine to fit in small space, the team found exactly what i needed and the store manager opened up the warehouse on a Saturday just to help me out. Will be coming back.

I live in Brisbane and didn't realize that this store was in Melbourne when placing an order for a barbecue. Han was very helpful and made sure I get this delivered to my house in Brisbane at a very reasonable price. Thanks a lot Han!

I've mad top notch service from the team at Camberwell Electrics. For example my 90 year old mum ordered new kitchen appliances and ordered the wrong rangehood. All swapped over without fuss or fees. I have since purchased many items and the team are brilliant and make sure we got exactly what we wanted at a value for money price

Bought a Beko oven from this store for my new kitchen. Sold to me by a lovely young guy. Months later had my kitchen finally finished. And first attempt to use the oven it is not working. Rang this store and was greeted with interrogation and treated as though it was my fault the oven wasn’t working. No concern or care about the oven not working. No no. They just felt they needed to lecture me. Obviously frustrated with dealing with complaining customers. I don’t need the drama or the lecture. It was an Absolute joke. After the interrogation then l find out I have to ring Beko anyway. Rang Beko and they were lovely and sorted it out. No thanks to these people. Find out the lovely young sales guy has left this store. No wonder. Would I recommend this store.that would be a huge. NO! I would never ever buy from them again.

Purchased white goods here for the first time due to competitive pricing. Found the overall experience very positive. I had to change my delivery date 3 times which they kindly accommodated. Also a big thanks to Rob & Richard who delivered the fridge

Great service followed up with delivery 4 days later after purchase) (Purchase Mon 29/11/21 and Delivery Thurs 02/12/2021)
Prices cheaper than Good Guys and includes delivery fee; for $35 extra they even took the old refrigerator away. Nothing seems like a problem for all the staff in store or the delivery guys. 10/10 people - well done)

I called to order a fridge as i wanted to confirm the details on the removal of my old fridge first. Well after 1.5 weeks of waiting. I heard nothing. Even the original purchase order i had to chase, which confirms a sale! There is no tracking, and it is my belief it was not in the warehouse as stated. It was probably on a container somewhere? I extended another one week on a promise i would be contacted by the warehouse. Still Nothing. No communication or customer service exists. I cancelled. I finally got credited in my card, close to one month just now! Service levels are non existent. You ask for a manager, a service assistant deflects, thinking they are in a position to offer advice. You give them another chance. It is like comedy central. Never again.

Bought a fridge on 3-Oct, no indication of availability provided but I could have called to check myself so when they called me around the 10th or so to advise it wasn't available, so be it. What I am very unhappy with is that they told me I could expect it 'Mid to Late October'. That being a few weeks later I was willing to wait and let it go. I've just had to chase them up on the 1st November having received NO update whatsoever and apparently the ETA is now 10/11. Would not recommend purchasing anything from these guys in the future as they seem to have deliberately mislead me.
