Camberwell Curry House - Best Indian and Nepalese Restaurant & Catering Service Melbourne

When I walk in the doors to pick up my takeaway I wish I could hug the chefs because I know my meal is about to be heavenly. I have recently moved from the area and I travel back because this is the best curry I have tasted in Melbourne.

Delighted by the delicious food, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Although the service was a tad slow, the food was wonderful. Will definitely come back!

Amazing. Got the banquet. From start to finish could not fault it. The beef was so tender. Spices were on point. The staff were great and the chef came out to ask how our meals were. Genuine nice guy who clearly know how to cook. Strongly recommend giving it a try.
Also, the banquet includes top ups on the curry so you can get more if you werent full!

Fantastic service, and the Vindaloo was spicy and the lamb very tender. Service was fantastic, will be back for sure.

I LOVE MOMOS! And before coming to Australia, i always thought if I would ever be able to get momos (with same Indian taste) in Australia. I tried different places to get the same taste but was disappointed every single time. Luckily I found camberwell curry house, and since then I haven’t tried momos from any other place. My search for best momos ended the moment I took the first bite of juicy delicious momos and not to forget about the chutney which is spicy and hit you right at the spot.

Also, the staff here is lovely and welcoming. I would recommend everyone of you to come here and try out the momos.

Best momo’s in eastern suburb. Very friendly staff. Must try jhol momo, chowmein and especially nepalese style timur chicken.

The food was amazing. Tilak the owner was kind enough to buy my wife and I a cake to celebrate our 39 years marriage. I highly recommend this place. You can dine in or take away.

The food was delicious. Both the chicken and beef dishes that we ate were tender and the service with just the right amount of spice. The staff were friendly, helpful, and enquired as to how the meal was going. Looking forward to our return visits.

I have tried a couple of indian restaurants in the area and this one comes out on top.the staff are always friendly and accommodating and food is consistently delicious.

Came across this little lovely restaurant online and I’m grateful we decided to try it out. From the very hearty meals that surely hits the spot to the warmest service. Big shout to Pabi and this other lovely staff for looking after us and making sure we’re getting the most of our experience!

We had the set menu and let me tell you, it was worth every dollar. Will definitely be back again.

We reserved a table for 4. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We ordered 3 curry and 4 types of naan, which is a bit lot for 4 people. The staff also managed to find one beer cap for me. Absolutely will comeback.

OMG…. It is only one Nepalese typical taste cuisine in the Melbourne. I went with my partner and we had Chicken biryani, Chicken dumplings, mango lassi, mushroom Tandoori and so many other things. It was all delicious and we was so delightful to have this kind of food. Thank you so much. I highly recommend to all people please visit once.

We got catering done from Camberwell curry house and it was all praises from all of our guests! The food was excellent and the service delivered was just amazing. It was a seamless experience. Their chilli chicken and Himalayan goat curry was the star of the show! Thank you all for making our party a success! Couldn’t have done it without you

Amazing food, the waitress was very sweet kind and welcoming. Had the set menu buffet and couldn't even finish it because of the quantity. Highly recommend the bombay lemonade, reminded me of home!

My partner and I have eaten here 5 times and each time we were def impressed!
I highly recommend this restaurant. We ask for medium-spice for all meals. For entree we order chicken tikka and lamb chops. Both good value. We have tried garlic chicken tikka but this has a lot of sauce almost like soup but still nice and good spices. For main course we order chicken or lamb rogan Josh, garlic naan and rice. Staff are friendly & the restaurant is always clean. We bring our own bottle of wine and put it in the middle of the table when we arrive. My only suggestion would be for the waitress to give us 2 wine glasses and perhaps not the wine list. We will be back as the food is fresh, great spices and we are greeted with a genuine smile each time. Highly recommended.

The Kadai Paneer Masala and the Chettinad Beef Madras Curry were delicious, same as the naans. I ordered online and they came on time and the food was hot. Highly recommended. I will come back.

I recently visited Camberwell Curry House with my family and had an amazing time. The food was fantastic – we ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was delicious. The standout for me was definitely the momos – the filling was so flavorful and the dough was cooked perfectly.

My wife and I visited Camberwell curry house on Friday night and we loved it! The food was delicious, the service excellent and the menu was begging for multiple visits with so much great food to choose from. We’ll be back very soon! Thank you all
