Cam gives his students exercises and study to complete each week and will hold everyone accountable for their efforts, but will also be right there to provide support and guidance if you are struggling, and will do so in an empathetic and open manner. Cam has been an absolutely great teacher! He not only focuses on the technical side of the instrument but also the emotional side. He helped me from being in a place of possessing no motivation and discarding practice completely, to figuring out why this was happening and being able to get back into a routine and enjoying guitar in general! I've been getting lessons with Cam for almost 18 months now, and am stoked with how much progress I've made in that time. Cam really invests in his students, and it makes a heap of difference. The more you invest in your playing as a student, the more he will invest in it as your teacher. He pushes you to become a better player, but never puts pressure on you. Cam has always been extremely supportive and motivating. The more i get taught by Cam, the more I enjoy playing and the more I want to keep getting better.

I've been with Cam bird for around a year now, and I often forget to thank him, so here I go.
Cam is very good at assessing my abilities and interests and adjusting his lesson accordingly. He makes the lessons fun and also challenging. He often goes out of his way to learn about my interests in music, he is a gifted musician but also highly skilled at teaching. He works well with me and has a flexible schedule. He is firm which I love but also fair, he is kind friendly and patient especially with me as I'm learning from the beginning. Cam walks me through the theory, as well as the details of the guitar. I was so nervous when I first went to Cam but now I am pretty confident I can learn anything he gets me to play. Thanks for the great lessons and I always can't wait to see him for next challenge. If anyone is interested in guitar, Cam is the guy to see and I promise he delivers every time.

Having had no musical experience whatsover, (I don't think grade 3 recorder counts) and being a bit older than the usual guitar student, I was a little nervous in looking for the right teacher. Well, finding Cam was the best thing ever! Cam is patient, very knowledgeable, passionate about guitar and his students. Cam is not only an exceptional guitarist, he is a great teacher and mentor - I’ve played guitar for a long time but wasn’t really getting to the level I wanted. I tried several online courses which were good but you never get any feedback about how your progressing which is what I believe is the key to getting better- like having a good coach - sometimes you need that extra push.

I’ve been a student of Cam’s for about 6 months now and I can honestly say that my progression has been unbelievable- Cam is super easygoing and such a great teacher, he really wants you to become a shredder. He has so much knowledge to pass on from his own experiences and provides the necessary feedback required to progress.

Super easy to go online and hook-up via Zoom, at 1 hour a week from the comfort of your home getting taught by an absolute shredder is pretty special I reckon - I highly recommend getting on the Bird’s program if you want to start taking your guitaring to another level - Im super stoked I did.

I used to play guitar years ago and got back into it during lockdown, but started to really hit a wall with my playing around 6 months in. Searched far and wide for a teacher who liked the same kind of music as I did and luckily I found Cam. In the first lesson alone he identified a few technical flaws I had that were holding me back and provided me with exercises and songs to play that would help clean up my playing. My progress so far has been exceptional. The exercises Cam gives are really great at targeting and improving weak points in my playing, and he always makes sure any songs he gives me to learn are from artists/genres I actually like!

Cam has a really clear roadmap of what I need to improve on to get to where I want to be as a guitarist. His feedback is incredibly positive, helpful and constructive, and he checks in with me between lessons to see how my practice is going. I can send him videos in between lessons and he can point out things I'm getting wrong, and will let me know how to fix them. He challenges me to improve, and I find having a good teacher keeps me accountable.

The best money I've ever spent as a guitarist has been on getting lessons from Cam. Thanks mate!

I've improved more in two months with Cam's lessons than I have in the last 5 years trying to learn guitar from the internet. Cam is a great teacher, patient, and knows his stuff.

I hit a wall. I wasn't enjoying playing guitar anymore and I certainly wasn't improving. I'd tried YouTube, I'd tried online courses but all I did was learn a couple new riffs and not much else. I finally decided to go back to getting lessons and I wish I had found Cam sooner.

Cam was quick to help me course-correct. He quickly noticed bad habits that were preventing me from moving forward. After supporting me through those changes it was then onto growth. I'll skip the boring details but it's been quite a few months now and I find myself picking up the guitar more than I have ever done before. I'm playing things that I never thought I would be able to play. This was not only what I was looking for, but it was exactly what I needed.

I've really appreciated all the check-ins between lessons and assistance Cam has provided both technically and also mentally. 5 stars without question

Learning guitar with Cam has been awesome. Each lesson further inspires me to learn more as a guitar player. Before seeing Cam I was learning online through different apps and although I felt like I was getting progress there was so much that I felt I wasn't covering. The broad range of skills and knowledge that I have now gained in a short time span with Cam has far surpassed what I had expected. If you genuinely want to improve this is the way to go.

Cam works super hard. Not just with his own music but for his students as well. I have been taking lessons with Cam for about 2 months and the effort that he takes to tailor the lessons to each student is amazing. Cam is more than just a guitar teacher, he's a great mentor. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Cam has been my guitar mentor for a few months now. He quickly picked up the way i learn and has adapted his teachings accordingly. Not only does he teach me the fundamentals of guitar but we have a ball doing it!
