I did the Buttercream and Stenciling Workshop and had a wonderful time. Jacqui was incredibly friendly and professional. This class was well done and I learnt a lot! There are just some things you can't learn on YouTube.

Had a great time learning all the basics of cake decorating thanks to Jackie along with having a good laugh. Picked up some good deals on equipment at the end of the class also. Cant' wait to explore the finer details of cake making soon. Highly recommend you get in touch with these guys as they are extremely helpful and the store has everything you need from beginners to professionals.

Cake decorating with @cakedecosuppliesmelb (the one that used to be on Flinders). We did a workshop covering transfer images on fondant, chocolate eggs and frosting. It was pretty cool, well paced and organized, small class size was perfect.

Lots of options for colours. But I really struggled to shop here because it was so disorganised. I went there mainly for gum paste tools for petals and they had very limited stock of the large sizes of petals I needed and they didn't realise lack of stock till I enquired with them. Some of veining tools for petals is not very good quality despite the price. The baking tins are just all over the place without proper pricing and were more expensive than chefs hat even. A lot of stuff doesn't have pricing, and even at the till it takes ages because they don't have things in the system which leads to manual entering pricing on a lot of items and you end up with a larger bill than expected. Also the younger shop assistant packed my bag rather carelessly, she is very sweet but definitely requires a lot of training. The shop assistants are very chatty and friendly but customer service is more than friendliness, it's about ease of shopping and being organised - ensuring you have sufficient stock (at least being aware of your stock to re-order when low) and transparency on the shelf with pricing. This is a shame because this shop is so cute and has so much potential.

I bought acetate strip yesterday (Tuesday) to make a raspberry mousse cake this week end. It arrived the next day (Wednesday) in Sydney! Good job Cake Deco Supplies. I will order again. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing is all I can say. So vibrant so much variety had everything I needed the staff were so accommodating and friendly definitely my favourite place and I’d be beyond happy to continue supporting this lovely little business.

There used to be this amazing cake supplies place in Melbourne CBD. I was pretty devastated when I couldn’t find them, then saw this listing in Port Melbourne. I didn’t realise it but turns out they are actually the same people! New premises, still the same humongous range, although you can see it all now! Very, very helpful and lovely staff. Highly recommend, I will be back.

Sales assistant was so helpful helping me select what I needed quickly. A great selection of sprinkles also. They were quite busy and run off their feet helping all the customers. Will be back for more baking supplies.

Fantastic service. They know decoration back to front and can help you with all of your needs. I was grateful for all of the pro tips as well. A total one stop shop that is really well stocked. Great to see lots of vegan friendly products (Especially a great range of food colourings).

My online purchase was not available for pick-up. Apparently they sent me an email cancelling my order but it was never received. The shop attendant was busy on a personal phone call on speaker phone for the first 5 mins I was in the shop. A very poor experience.

Awesome place to find all you need to make cakes! Is about place for tools and some specific ingredients like fondant and other fantastic things for make amazing cakes! In addition the service is fantastic!

Fabulous selection of cake mixes, supplies and general baking decor heaven. Lots and lots of sugar decoration items, from delicate items like wattle and gum flowers to fun themed ones like sugar Nintendo Switch consoles (and everything in between).
