Cagney's Pizza

Awesome place with amazing food, worthy of a review although I never do. The pizzas today were beautiful, shoutout to the young Greek guy that made them with such care and attention to detail, they were really delicious. The service is always good here. Highly recommended!

Cagneys used to be great! Been coming here for over 10 years but NOW unfortunately their family pizza seems smaller and with less toppings and overall a less quality pizza for $30. No more Cagneys for me

Tonight we made a quick decision to go and eat In at Cagneys and let me tell you we weren't disappointed.
We were looked after by Paula. From the moment we got in untill the moment we left she was absolutely amazing her customer service kindness and caring attitude was truely appreciated thankyou we will be back soon.

Had take away canaloni & garlic prawns were delicious.
2nd visit had a small ham & pineapple pizza.wouldn't recommend, won't order pizza again but would definitely order their meals.

Food can be a hit and miss here depending on what you order. We use to order here regularly however it's not as good as it use to be. Pasta dishes are much fresher than most other places locally, but at times not as good as previous times.

My newest takeaway local. I haven't dined in but the takeaway pizza and garlic bread was to die for. Worth the money!

Edit: we've now been a local for a year and it remains our go-to for pizza night takeaway. The team are super lovely. Our pizza favourites are: Lamb and Pepperoni. My go-to is the Greek salad with the chicken skewers. When we dined in the team were lovely and the specials we had were amazing. 10/10.

Wood oven pizzas were delicious, fish portion (whiting) was 2 good size fillets with a buttery lemon sauce. My husband is very fussy with fish but he loved it. Noisy, but it was a Saturday night and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

A great place to have a bite to eat. Great variety of pizzas, pasta. Italian style. Pizza was perfect. Customer service friendly and helpful Italian ice cream was also delicious. Thank you Carney's

First of all I did call to pass on feedback but management where too busy to take my call. We are regulars of Cagneys, however not so happy this Friday night. Decided to try a woodfire pizza, emphasis on the fire.
It’s burnt, hard and so dry like cardboard. I forced myself to eat two pieces, still hungry.
After working all day, coming home to a family to look after all I wanted was a night off cooking and now I’m going to bed still hungry. In the current climate $20 something for a pizza is fair, but costs add up and it’s $20 in the bin tonight. Won’t be going back.

If I had to sum out our dining experience in one word I’d have to say "Terrible".
If there was a zero star I would have chosen it for the food quality and dining experience! I’ve dined in twice now with my family and will never ever go back there again, not even for takeout.
Management doesn’t care about service and the food we received was below average when we eventually received it.
The only good thing I can say is the waiting staff were kind, understanding and doing there best with what they have to work with. I hope this review goes to help improving future paying customers dining experience in what seen to be an established restaurant that’s focused on something other than their paying customers.

Best woodfire GF pizza that l've had in a long time.fresh ingredients and well cooked underside.

It’s hard to find a “good” authentic pizza spot these days and finally……. Found one.
Oh and it’s open 7days. Even that is hard to find these days locally.
Consistent beautiful pizza. The Parma we had was “real”.
Isabella our service person has been brilliant on the two occasions we have been.
We were excited to see her on service again.
Definitely our new regular pizza spot.

Cagneys is synonymous with the best pizza around the Hillside/Sydenham area and beyond.
The proof is the fact that they have been around for many years proves this.
Every time I dine here the food and service is great. I almost always go for the wood fired pizzas. I just can't seem to go past them.
Having said this the food from the kitchen is equally as good.
I always leave feeling satisfied.

Not many Pizza pasta restaurants make a decent pasta but this place does. Pizza especially wood fired one's good.oh! And the calamari salad

I am new to the area and I was very disappointed when I purchased a pizza. Not only was it probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had, minimal toppings and tasteless, it was also pretty expensive! I won’t be going back to this place again!

I ordered chicken with mushroom sauce. Picked up my order and drove home. Guest what? When its finally dinner time, it's just chicken and chips. Dried. No mushroom sauce. I called the store to let them know that I am happy to go back to pick up the sauce. She admitted the other girl forgot to note the sauce. But I have to pay $6 extra? It's not my fault. Bad service.

Really great pizzas generous with thier toppings and the base is very good I've never had a soggy one from them.
