Staff make little to no effort in customer service or friendliness.

Coffee was also really bad.

After just a coffee was not busy empty tables around waited for someone to take an order, about 5 minutes, while waiting watched staff drift past tidy cake cabinet and staff watch people. Finally someone came but then was not interested in listening to me speak staring out the window and when I stopped speaking to wait for acknowledgment the response was to ignore the fact I had been speaking and be told there would be a 45 minute wait for a coffee. The place was not even half full but cannot accurately rate the food or coffee as I left. The disinterest was picked up loud and clear what a waste of my time.

Cold atmosphere - the front of house was not smiley or welcoming.

Ordered chilli scrambled egg and it was tasteless just chilli not much else.

Capuccino was just flat with chocolate on top - no foam and yeah just not good. Such a shame.

Edited: after reading some of the reviews. - I wished I read them before or walked away when I felt not welcomed.

The customer service here was zero! 2 rude ladies at the front desk. Then ontop of that, i paid $20 for 2 bacon & egg rolls (takeaway), couldn't even butter the roll let alone the lack of product? ! Literally a dry roll with 1 egg and half a rasher of bacon.

Food was absolutely delicious, service was very slow, took about half an hour for our food to come out and was a bit pricey

Took a long time to get food. Ordered lunch and coffees. Food eventually came out. Fairly ordinary. We waited a further 15 min for coffee. We had to ask for takeaway as it took that long.

We are not local to Seymour & stopped at the first open coffee place we saw. Staff not very welcoming (apparently unless you were local - witnessed an interaction with another customer). Foccacia came out 5mins after ordering, 20mins later the childs nugget meal & partners burger came out. Food was great, hot & fresh but customer service seems lacking (even on a very quiet Sunday afternoon)

Smallest portion of food for money paid extremely disappointing was about 3 bites of food biggest waste of money

The dirtiest cafe I have been in. Staff absolutely miserable. Could be a great venue but it is far from it now. Never to return.

A great little cafe right in Seymour. There were plenty of choices for those with gluten free allergies and vegetarian desires. Food was well cooked, the salads that we ordered were full of taste, absolutely delicious.
Staff were friendly, only down side was the meals came out VERY spread out so we really did not eat together.

My wife had a driving test In Seymour VicRoads.
So I just went to this cafe on my own. I was confused with what I should I have.the lady at the cafe recommended me one of their chicken burger $16 something. I was shocked to see the price but she assured me I am gonna love this chicken burger as they make fresh burgers and chicken is used is not processed food just like McDonald’s or other fast food outlets.
I had cappuccino and chicken burger with salad as I don’t eat fries so she gave me salad instead without any extra charges.my goodness that burger was amazing.for one person the burger is too much or you have to have really hungry to finish the whole burger along with salad. I am glad I was abled to finish my meal. I was so full and just wanted to have a nap after this meal. The coffee was amazing.when I asked the lady did you just make this burger for me, she replied “brother, most places in the country will make burgers like that “.
What an amazing and delicious food it was!
I will go back again if I get a chance.
I will highly recommend this place who lives in Seymour or driving past.

Absolute worst Cafe experience of my life. Food was over priced and the portions were incredibly small. Staff was rude and the kitchen staffs time management was very poor. Someone was left waiting for 45 minutes for their meal even after everyone at the table already had eaten their meals.
When the staff was asked for a refund for said meal, they were rude and not apogetic at all.
Don't waste your time effort or money coming to this place.

It was my partners' and i first time visiting Seymour and Cafferine Bistro, and it was a pleasant experience. The coffee was flavourful and smooth, and the food was better than expected. Unfortunately, the Smashed Avocado I had had three lemon seeds, which was not fun to bite into. Please, for future reference, pick the seeds out of the lemon before juicing it onto the avocado

Eggs bacon on toast mug of tea agreat way to start the day staff friendly and efficient could smile a bit more

Upon entry was greeted with a friendly hello. The service was swift and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Very very slow with service. The chicken wrap wasn't wrapped properly but very nice. The lamb burger patty was raw and had to be sent back to be recooked and took ages, but also tasted lovely

Bitterly disappointed with this place. Prices advertised on their window and inside on their screens were different to what we were charged. When questioned why this was we were told that " he hasn't got around to it yet". I'm sorry but that is very bad business and lost my vote instantly. We also asked for a bottle of table water and got bought out One glass of water, seriously get it together.

I’m not local in Seymour so I didn’t have high expectations. This place was really great! The food was so yummy! The chicken was juicy and tasty and the chocolate thick shake was ACTUALLY thick and the chocolate frappe was delicious:)
Although the staff look bored.
